Las Costas is our "go to" hotel in Lanza, spotlessly clean and a really high standard of food. Pefect location for the beach and a nice walk to the busier areas of PDC.
I’ve been to tenerife in May and June and what I love is longer nights I don’t like it getting dark at 6.30 in the winter( that’s the only thing I don’t like)
Hi Kev enjoying all your Lanzarote bloggs been to playa blanca many years ago with the kids.no one ever mentioned that is always very windy as it was the two weeks we stayed. Was it windy whilst you were there. Keep the great vloggs going, you got looking at some good places for a 2024 holiday.
Kevin, I agree the winter Canaries (all islands) are the best for shorter journeys to winter sun. Personally I couldn't be assD with longer trips to Carribbean/Thailand etc. I long to get fit enough to get out again to GC/Tenerife. Cheers DougT
Kevin, can you help lots of people out here ?. My understanding is that Tenerife is the most expensive island, followed by grand canaria, then feuerta Ventura and then lanzarote. Maybe some spelling mistakes there but you get the drift. I’ve done all other than Tenerife, it’s because I stay close to Paisley and I’m a miser lol. How would you place all of these islands in terms of costs and value for money, also when would you recommend the perfect time to visit. Sorry for the headache m8, but hey I think and value your opinion in advance.
Never do the Canaries in the summer. Prefer mainland Spain or Mallorca at that time of year. For me the Canaries are perfect during the spring/autumn/winter.
@Scotsman in Tenerife ... Kevin, one question please: ... What's the correct wording/name ... Is it (A) 'Porto Dot Carmen', or is it (B), 'Puerto Del Carmen' ?? ... If (B) should be correct, why is it that you are always/constantly saying 'Porto Dot C.' ?? ... 😲 Is it that difficult to pronounce it correctly as 'Puerto Del C.' ??
San Antonio deffo does all inclusive. Stayed there last july. Food was top drawer. They have a sister hotel in playa blanca, called coral beach. Worth checking out.

Bit of a laugh Kevin 🙈 Our friends stayed at San Antonio & they called it “ God Waiting Room “ 🙈🙈🙄
Rui is not a bad hotel in pdc lovely and clean and fun.
Don’t tell everyone! They will all want to go😂
I’m from the north o Scotland mate , we’re heading over next week- will I get away with shorts at night ??
Probably but I find it's more top half that gets cold maybe need a fleece. I don't think I have ever wore jeans in canaries.

Lanzarote prob most affordable hotels Chester than tenerife and food and drink more expensive in gran canaria and fueteventura.
