"Sentimental Reason" is a self-produced unit by Hidenori Maezawa,
a former sound creator from a major game maker and president of the music production company "picnic".

早稲田大学理工学部卒、日本工学院/日本電子専門学校非常勤講師歴任。
その前澤之伯が世界から大注目の80年代シティポップを現在進行形で蘇らせたシティポップセルフユニット「Sentimental Reason」。
1stから約4年の時を経て、世界的にも成熟したジャンルとして確立した「ジャパニーズシティポップ」待望の2nd mini Album「twilight」を満を持して発表！
After working as a game sound creator for major game maker Konami, he founded picnic, Ltd., of which he is the representative, in 2001.
He graduated from the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University
and has served as a part-time lecturer at Nippon Engineering College and Japan Electronics College.
Hidenori Maezawa is the founder of his own city pop unit "Sentimental Reason,"
which is currently reviving the 80's city pop that has attracted much attention from around the world.
After about four years since his first album, he has finally released his long-awaited second mini album "twilight,"
a reflection of the "Japanese city pop" genre, which has established itself as a mature genre worldwide!
服部奈緒（ハットリナオ/ Nao Hattori）Guest Vocal
1997年生まれ、東京都出身、B型。 東京の下町、浅草にある民謡酒場の長女として生まれる。
幼少時代から、酒を飲み興じて歌う者､愚痴をこぼしながら涙する者など庶民の会話や感情、そして音楽に囲まれて育つ。学生時代に名門アカペラサークルに所属､そのリードボーカリストとして2度全国大会への出場を果たす。ギミックを用いて痛烈な表現を回避しつつも､リスナーの共感を呼ぶリリック､服部が今こそ歌いたいことは｢だれかの大丈夫じゃない日に､ ちょっとだけ希望になれるような音楽｣。
Born in 1997 in Tokyo, blood type B. Born as the eldest daughter of a folk song bar owner in Asakusa, a downtown area of ​​Tokyo.
From an early age, she grew up surrounded by the conversations, emotions, and music of ordinary people, such as those who drank and sang, and those who cried and complained. During her school days, she joined a prestigious a cappella club and participated in the national competition twice as the lead vocalist. While using gimmicks to avoid harsh expressions, her lyrics resonate with listeners, and what Hattori wants to sing now is "music that can give a little hope to someone on a day when they're not feeling well."
