The saddest fact about this kdrama is that it's based on true events. To think that so many innocent civilians lost their just because they were living in Gwangju is heartbreaking. There must've been so many other Myeong-Hees and Hui-Taes. Innocent people who sacrificed their life trying to save others. Innocent people who had to go through the pain of loosing their loved ones even when it wasn't their fault. People who had so many hopes and dreams for their future but in the end couldn't fulfil any of them. My heart goes out to all the people who lost their lives during the Gwangju uprising. May they rest in peace 🤍

Atleast in Snowdrop Sooho died in young ro's arms but here what a tragic and sad ending. She died all alone in pain and loneliness missing all her loves going far away from all of them. And hwang tae really taught us real love do exist even it its 1 in a 10000. He lived for her and she died to protect them what a irony!

I watched the drama about 6 months ago and this is the first time I'm watching this clip after finishing the drama. I can't take this heartbreak, it hurts so bad
I knew about the sad ending even before I started watching this series and so I thought I was ready. I was wrong. I cried when he cried - while watching the winner of the song festival, when he said ‘ did you find her’, and at the beach. How profound and true their love can be.
Had I known, I wouldn't have started watching... Stopped watching it at 12, can't bring myself to watch how it ended

Just finished this drama...and I knew the main lead is going to die but yet at the end I cried a lot ....fact that she doesn't deserve all this ...meyong hee life was disaster from beginning...she always paid for others mistake. And when finally she had said something yes to the thing she loves destiny denied it....what most heartbreaking for me was the way she died...she lived alone and yet at her very last end she died alone...she doesn't have proper funeral and the way they recovered her skeleton man....she always sacrificed and in the end she sacrifices her life... She doesn't even lived her dream of going abroad...she dropped of schl bcz of her father...she betrayed by her bff...and hated her father till the end and at last they didn't get time to patchup and he died ...she couldn't marry her lover....she doesn't want the misery of the person who left behind and in the end hae tae understand it....this drama proves how beautiful and sad love can be ..they both struggled for their love but destiny decided something else...this drama is worth even it is sad...main lead deserves best award for this ...

I'm so glad they were able to spend time together at the hospital serving people. I really cherish those moments, although, not so romantic fot others, i saw it as the glimpse of their future life together. They would have been the perfect doctor-nurse pair if Myung Hee also survived. Thia is just how you know how f*cked up times were during Martial Law.
They both didn't deserve the pain.

Ladies and Gentlemen, that idiot kid Myeong-su, doesn’t understand the gravity of fhe situation, because he’s too impatient, like he barely made it during shootout on civilians, normally kids get scared easily, not go out on their own just like that, his dad just died earlier, he’d be traumatized already and not run off again.
