Anyone reading this please tell your friends about this channel. Let’s get Mike to 200k before the end of January. I know I love watching his shenanigans and I’m especially eager to see this Blaster completed. You actually ROCK, Mike!! Here’s to 2023
Iv said it before and I’m sure many have but I need to say it again. The best rebuild/restoration channel on UA-cam when it comes to Offroad content. The attention to detail along with the tips and tricks. Don’t know how your not at a million subs
You always make my day with these Jimmy; thank you for the love and support, I'll see you at 1 million! 🤘
His last video with plastic buffing is literally going to save me thousands in the future if I can pull it off. It’s been the talk of the town in my trail association after I showed it to everyone. Everyone hates faded plastics. Everyone loves sabo
Absolutely love the humility & mechanic humor, great content.
so cool to see that you have the budget to completly rebuild an atv but you also show how to bring used parts back to life that most people would just thro away, love it!!! are you building all of the quad in the next top quad?
I have a tip and you might already know this, But when I wanna make graphics and plastics shine even vinyl i just use tire shine. It makes faded black black plastics look brand new. Also great video hoping to get a quad soon and build it up. Thanks for all the knowledge you have taught me
With the ball joints, take the nut off, flip it over and tighten it just flush with the end. Then you can hit it without fear of mushrooming the end or damaging the treads. However, you can still bend it if you Sabo it real hard. Great channel, love quad wars. Thanks for representing the average guy with cheaper quads. Not everyones got $10k to drop on a quad.
Happy new year! Be cool to have a video of the process of having the parts powder coated. Keep up the great work!
Man don't hold back on the trash can explosions!!!! phenomenal!!!!
This Chanel is my favourite on all of UA-cam. You and Alan millyard are brilliant.
I really think it’s amazing what you do for those old quads it’s something I want to do with side by sides
Crazy transformation with the headlight
Fantastic video Michael. All those years of working on disenchanted atvs and bikes clearly show the wealth of experience you have acquired. I know how easy it is for people even with great mechanical skills to just walk away expressing not worth the effort. You clearly show otherwise with persistence and keen observations that rusted out nightmares can be reborn into Phoenix. I salute you for your dedication in making your videos into quality entertaining and very infomative at a professional level. Thank you for starting 2023 with this video.
I love your videos, I would love to see a 4x4 4wheeler on here I bet you could make a sick mix of utility and handling and add some sport to a cool 4x4
The stuff I use on my boat and lenses is Mckee's 360. Cleans, cuts, and polishes all in one. It's a miracle in a bottle. Terrific stuff
I love how the abuse this poor Blaster experienced over the course of its life becomes more evident with every layer you peel back. I just found your channel and I’m enjoying your videos. Keep them coming.
It's true, on the surface sometime you really can't tell. Thank you for finding my channel and following the build!
It's nothing check ones from UK the rust eats everywhere here and the lack of brains for a thousand dollars you'd be lucky to get one running mainland UK probably rusty as hell requiring bearings seals bushes chain sprockets tyres etc etc got four one as spares for rest and live midlandish England not alot of good examples about 👌😅
I'm glad to see you do this build. This looks like a perfect machine for a budget build. Still can't wait to see the finished product though. You always kill it on any build you do.
Hey mike when knocking the tie rod’s loose screw the nut back on it backwards and you can wrap on it pretty good to knock it loose and you won’t damage the threads on either just run it backwards and almost flush with the stud leave a couple threads of the nut hanging off the stud and hit it flush you need a soft blow hammer or a brass hammer for those jobs.
Facts of life one man's trash is another man's gold..can't tell you how many things ppl thro in the trash that can be repaired straightened or rebuild.
Man the plastic looks awesome good job I have been wanting to learn to restore plastic thanks much for showing how. Great work as always!!!
Thanks man; I don't know if this method would restore plastics but definitely for one's like these that weren't in bad shape, it works pretty well.
Love the restorations. It’s so satisfying fixing something rather than buying new. If you use a little cerakote trim coat on the black housing it would bring the gloss back just like the plastics.
I am in the process of building a 05 blaster for my son and was glad to see the blaster video keep up the good work
Yep I'm gonna need to get one of those buffers. I have a few machines that could use it for sure
👍 on using an adjustable wrench the right way. So many times I see people using it flipped over which causes the jaws to spread apart and slip.
That Quad needed some love and attention for sure, this is what happens when you leave your big boy toys outside 💯🙏
I love them rear bumpers, I actually have one I'm saving for my next Blaster.
I’m convinced there is nothing basket case garage can’t do! 🔥
Love ittt!!😢
i would watch this youtube channel if it was on cable TV. i love the videos. I'm always excited for the next one to come out. funny and educational.
Get sunf tires also wheel spacers they make a massive difference
Lmaooo when mike pulls out the Thor wrench for the carrier nuts 🤣🤣 nobody will ever know that feeling of relief until they struggle with bearing nuts and get them free!
Mike is the best I hope this channel blows up in to something huge
Super excited to see this thing go in top quad
@@MichaelSabo for sure I’m gonna get into racing soon on my blaster since it’s set up for tracks
Love the videos. I was a professional detailer for years. I don't recommend using carnauba wax on plastics, especially clear ones. The wax will soak into the pores and turn yellow. It only takes about 4 months, then they will have to be polished again. I recommend using a 3m finishing polish, or something like meguiars 205 for the last step. Then a synthetic sealant, or ceramic coating is the way to go. Even a cheap ceramic coating from amazon should work great for UV protection.
loving this build so far man i watch all the old vids i love watching u rebuild these bikes
My dad had a 70's bultaco. Keep the thumbs up coming.
Love your work! Just a tip...when knocking on the threaded tierods/ball joints, thread the not on upside down until flush with the threaded shaft, then tap on that. Saves the thread. Keep going!
Love the comedy you been injecting into the vids lately man. Keep em coming!!!
It would be awesome to see you doing a Honda atc build. I’ve learned so much from watching, thank you!
Makes my day hearing that you've learned from watching my videos. I have an ATC lined up but it's a TriZ 250; I'd like to get around to a honda as well
Your content is amazing. The comedy is on a whole nother level in addition to the actual work and helpful links to tools! Have a great year Michael!
@@MichaelSabo My pleasure and thanks for responding. Looking forward to watching every single video you release in 2023! :)
Happy new year Michael! Hey if you get bored this summer come up to Michigan and hit some trails with us!
I absolutely love the damned explosions, stoked to see how this build comes out!
Keep up the good work, Mike! You make my favorite videos on UA-cam!
Headlight looked great Mike, good shout with the 240 grit first it was quite bad in the end, great result and hope the little bit of info I could provide in the last video helped contribute 👍 this thing is gunna be sick
Love simple quads like this 👍
I don't know why, but I love the garbage can toss scenes! Love the channel! That sticker removing stuff "Goof Off" will do that to headlights! Again, MOTHERS mag polish will clean up that headlight lens.
Super impressed with the light
Axle removal method was Def on point Michael, and your headlamp lens restoration looked great,be sure the headlight socket grounds good to the metal part of your headlamp housing, looked like there was a bit of corrosion where bulb assy sets in place which could cause bad ground
Mike, when trying to remove tierods, take the castle nut off, flip it, and screw it back on flush with the end of the threads, then you can hammer without worrying! Just like you did with the rear axel
That's a great tip if you don't have the ball joint separator but once I got that tool, if it doesn't break right away with some light taps I just go right to it
@Michael Sabo I agree, the tool is the way to go, when it comes to my jeeps I seem to always ruin the boot, but it's usually clapped out anyway lol
Man like Mike 🔥🔥🔥
I have a Yamaha Blaster blue color, it’s an incredible machine. Watching and enjoying all this serie
Love you too bro!! You’re hilarious when you say you’re going to “keep and resell” old parts🤣 Keep up the great content🤘🏼
This build is coming along great
Happy New Year to you and your family Mike from me and my family..thanks for the video on New Years Day..you rock dude..🤘🤙👍🍻
Can’t wait for the next video !! Great video 💯
Thank Mickeal for showing me that everyone even the best accidentally tighten instead of loosening the nut
That final hammer hit through 😂😂😂😂👌🏻👌🏻 awesome man keep it up 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
I have a 06 blaster. And doing complete rebuild..
The Axel Was So hard to get removed.. took alot of heat and pb
I was about to give up and the ..1 more last hit it finally broke free..
I would have loved to have bought rear bumper from you..
Awesome videos.. Love Them.
i use spraymax clearcoat on headlights. very well worth the $20 a can . . i usually get a couple parts together and ready to clear and the can can cover a decent amount of area. the nice thing about a clearcoat is the added UV protection which you wont get from just polish and a wax .. i wet sand down to 1500 and do 2-3 coats . can always do a few more coats and that gives a lot of impact protection , and ability t wetsand and buff down to road which saves a lot of refinishing time. the Spraymax comes in a 1k acrylic , or 2k urethane , that is 2 part, and has a shelf life of a few hrs to few days depending on environment . i flip and clear the nozzle and it stays spraying nicely throughout the time period without splattering . good stuff. they have it in high gloss glamour , matte , and satin .
Thank you for the info on this; I'm going to look into doing some sort of UV protection
omg the compilation around minute 5 as you where removing the stuck Nut made me laugh so hard, these sounds uhhh ahhh bäng bäng ouch uhhh ahhhh , very good, you have a nice sense of humor!!
Excited to see the result!!!
I really like when u BS about junk parts and u blow it up.,❤
It’s hard to believe mike is only at 175k subs, love his content, keep ‘em coming my man!
I really want to see you do an LT250R and a Tecate 4. A head to head shootout between the 250R, blaster, banshee, Tecate, and LT250R would be interesting. I’ll have my channel started very soon and if nobody does that shootout then it will be on my bucket list. I’m just waiting on a couple more pieces for my 250R and then I’ll have videos up.
i find a air hammer on the shaft shakes those barings out pretty good drill a small dent in the shaft then use the pointed bit to shove the shaft out GOOD LUCK DUDE !!!!!!!!!!!!
Great job on the headlight and plastics bud! Really killed that headlight though hell yeah!
Finally got a chance to work on my raptor last night. MAYBE it’ll be done by the summer. Great video as always👍🏽
Mike u should clear coat the headlight it will look & protect it longer, luv the channel, help me with alot of projects
Love this content… takes me back to watching this type of stuff on motor trend
Handlebar lights are nice, cus you can see when you turn. If not you have to wait untill ur all the way turned to see what's around the corner lol.
Very true; having one fixed and one on the bar will probably be really nice.
I'm so glad your doing these videos i have a all original 04 special edition and have thought many times to build it but never went through with it with these videos it might change my mind
@@MichaelSabo youve helped so much on so many different projects like the lt500 banshee and the yz you the man mike keep up the good work 🤘
Wow those plastics look great little bit of elbow grease does wonders love the content ✌️
Great content as usual! Headlight turned out amazing!
Love the channel man!!!! Keep it up
1rst day of the year and we get a video good shit never a bad day when Sabo drops something
New Year and started off with a bangin' a$$ video! I am really looking forward to what this year brings! Got me a computer for the shop, I have now been streaming your builds in my shop. May this year treat you kind and may God bless the work you do! Happy New Year Lil' bro!
Likewise to you in 2023 and beyond big bro! Thank you for streaming my videos in your shop 🤘
Happy new year to you too. your videos are greatly detailed and explained very well, thank you
I’ve come up with a way to quickly and cheaply “restore” faded and yellow headlights. Bug spray then clean woth soap and water and an automotive caned clear coat. Now obviously it’s not a permanent fix but it makes them look amazing for awhile
Love the content. I think you do great work. I really wish you would build a 1987‐1992 Suzuki lt250r. There are a lot of guys that have them that can't get parts anymore. I believe if you would build one then some of these companies will start to make parts for them again.
Thank you man! I will do a quadracer eventuallly; my first ever restoration was a 1988 LT250R and I'll always have a soft spot for them.
Thank you for your videos I enjoy watching them and they have inspired me to buy my first project, a Kawasaki KLX450, it is a basket case of a bike and I over paid for it compared to the parts I need to get, but it was is perfect project. Your videos help with things I need to look for and do. Thanks again and may you and your family have the best new year.
I can't believe the way the plastics and the headlights came out it just shows if you've got the right tools, you are halfway there now the spiders can see out of the window they get Evicted 😁👌
Excellent job as usual Mike and happy new year to u and all ur family let's shred 2023 in style 🤘!
Happy New Year 🤘 Thank you for watching my videos and supporting what I do; this has been an awesome year and 2023 is going to be even better. You all rock and I’m excited to save some sick machines this year together!
Happy new year bud!
Saw on instagram that polisher did a killer job, Happy New Year my man! 🎉
Get a hold of Sean Howell at HPM he has some nice stuff for the blaster
You should vs the 660 against the voodoo banshee
I appreciate ur hard work and attention to detail. Good job bro 👍
