Literary, if bands played in those three countries, they were "it" in other hand, if you have not played in those countries, you were nobody. Bands such as Creator,Loudness, Halloween, testament, were the product of "axis of metal" After reunification German went pop, and Japan went J pop after the cold war. US..well US went to where ever we are now..
I met Sebastian Bach in 2005 at a G n' R concert. One of the nicest guys I ever met.
And one of the best fucking frontmen on the planet.
