Awesome bikes! My house was built in1977. It still has the original green shag carpeting in the living room, my hallway and bedrooms. Maybe I should put some motorcycles in my living room too! Lol!

@@yamaharaptor01ableDamn, you are seriously blessed living only 2 hours away. I would be visiting them, doing volunteer work every week, if I lived as close to them, as you do. I live in New Orleans, Louisiana, and I can't wait to fly up there, ride with on their compound, and do a few days of volunteer work with them. Take Care, Brother.
Everyone has that ONE bike that holds special memories. I was riding a Honda Trail 90 before I learned how to ride my 20" Huffy Renegade bicycle with training wheels! (over 50 years ago) I would sit on the front edge of the seat, in between my brother's legs, steering and operating the throttle, while they would shift and brake. My feet weren't even close to being able to reach the pegs and would place them on the plate above the motor. It didn't take long for me to anticipate and give a quick blip of the throttle in concert with the shifts for smoothness. I can still "see" the rocks to avoid, the upcoming breaks in the washed-out ruts to crossover to the other side of the dirt road...the bike would go anywhere and climb anything in low-range! Those rides were truly memorable and are vividly etched into my memory! ***wanting something different, or possibly to "take me back", I recently came very close to buying a new Honda CT125. Man I love those memories, I too started early on a Z50 Honda at 6 in 72’ and am picking up a 72’ CT90 this week ! I’m so stoked. Be safe on that big KLR, I’d like to find an 85’ XR350 to dual sport but they are rare. Anyway good luck and be safe ✌️🇺🇸
@@deborahchesser7375 Wow...that's awesome, congrats! The Z50 was also the first bike that I ever rode solo on trails...same age, same year. 😉 Yes, the KLR is big and heavy and if I had access to more actual trail riding, I would get something smaller/lighter. For now, it's working out well for my present style of riding, which is mostly local country blacktop with some dirt roads/firelanes.

How much did it cost to transport 16 motorcycles 2,500 miles? $3-4-5 per mile?
Like a new penny😂
Kenny! I've been saying that for MANY years about how Harley Davidson might not be around if it wasn't for AMF! Dudes talking shit about them all the time. Probably weekend low miles fare weather riders. I bought a brand new Sportster in 79. Started a family 7 years after and coul d kick my ass for selling it then.
