Why would they spot playable rather than the actual dinosaur that the movie's name is based on.

No it’s not that but think about it, this isn’t a Pixar or Disney crossover game it’s just the Incredibles and just added these Pixar characters in to fill the character roster so these characters are not important to the story... so with that in mind for spot is a just a human that dosent talk vs Arlo who is a large green brontosaurus that talks.. they obviously would chose spot, also consider the fact that spot would have more abilities in the game than Arlo would just because he’s a human
