Assam is so diverse. So many tribes, so many communities. Vishal, please do share more about your culture. I would like to know more about the dimasa tribe. Sometimes being an assamese i feel ashamed of not knowing the cultures of some tribes in assam. Assamese media should show cast those.
I went to Assam with my boyfriend and I loved it so much, and he was kind of my translator, because I am only fluent in English, Hindi and French (I am a quarter Indian with roots in Himachal Pradesh, a quarter French and half British) my boyfriend (he is Marathi ) studied the languages of India in university and one of the many Languages he speaks is Assamese. It was so much fun! Especially the historical sites in Guhuwati. We were going to visit Haflong and then to Tezpur, but because I am a French citizen, my visa expired the day we were supposed to go to Haflong, but we had to return to Paris via Delhi. I do really want to go back to Assam.
You have missed so much in Assam. Go to Sivsagar next to see the ancient ruins and burial sites of the historical Ahom Kingdom. Go to Majuli Island, the largest river island in the world and meet the Mising tribes there. Also, go to North Assam to witness amazing landscapes and hills.
thank you bishal....I am also from north east bodo community ...n I loved all the people n different culture of north east n I want to enjoy n made friends from different communities....we all are one
I am from Arunachal. My childhood friend got married to a Haflong man 6 years ago. All these years we couldn't stay in touch because of my college and university schedules and not been able to see each other. I was worried as Haflong is in Assam and the Assamese culture and lifestyle is a bit different from ours. But through this video i now atleast have some idea about how she must be living there, and im glad Haflong is just like Arunachal. Those hills, roads, forest and esp. the food. I hope you are Happy, Nangsom. If you see this, visit me someday, Im still in Itanagar. Same place, same number. Miss you.😚💜
😭😭😭😭Oh how I wish UA-cam had the option of clicking the thumbs-up button lot of times to show how much we loved the video. This is the best travel vlog I have ever seen and probably is going to be the best for a very long time. I was watching this whole vlog with tears in my eyes of an unexplainable feeling that we get when we yearn to be with lovely people at lovely places and when we see beautiful things. I can't express in words how mesmerizing the whole thing was. It felt like I saw it live and lived every second of the vlog. The music, the editing everything was just wonderful. Thank u vishal. For more than 10 mins u made us all dimasa people belonging to haflong from the heart. I'm in love with this video. Sorryforthe lengthy comment but trust me I could write a whole book but still wouldn't be able to tell u how mesmerizing the whole video and the festival was.

Your language is somewhat similar to Tripura"s kokborok I guess..nice blog bro...nice culture..
Thats because both the language are a part of greater tibeto-Burmese language. And historically both the tribes belongs to the same family.
