Above video narrative is one of a good clear presentations. Thank you Global Grid.
Under a very good leadership of Anwar Ibrahim and his team Malaysia is moving towards a sustainable growth country hopefully by 2030 meeting all goals as stipulated by UNDP. It is no point to be just a developed country or a high income country if hunger, poor health or educational facilities, corruption, poor sanitation, social injustice is present. As mentioned Malaysia is facing v huge historical debt to clear. Also there are too much political noise and rhetorics that make life very interesting in this country.. Seeing Anwar Ibrahim commitment and vast experience he can achieve what we want in this small but important country.

Let me tell you why there’s such thing as brain drain.
You graduate as a engineer the normal graduate salary is RM2200 To Rm3000
And a business school students even lower at around Rm2000
The basic salary for any worker is RM1500.
That means a graduate that spend thousands and thousands of ringgit just to have approx of Rm1000 better.
And if you take the same certificates and go over to Singapore, you get the same salary in SDG. Where now you can save at least 3x. Where the grocery food you get is 3x cheaper.
Plus the inflation is crazy and salary is not keeping up. A kolo mee used to cost 3.00 in 2020, the basic salary was RM1200. Now it’s RM5.00 (167% increase), while the basic salary only RM1500 (125% increase)

Broadly unable to fathom this, India has cheap tech labour, Vietnam has cheaper labour in general, Indonesia is high consumption fast growing, same goes for Thailand. Don’t think Malaysia will have any clear advantage and will have fair competition to attract investment. Having said this Malaysia is definitely a great and beautiful country..

It's not just about cheap labor. Companies are also look at the quality of workforce when it comes to high tech manufacturing. Malaysia already has 50 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and accounts for about 13% of semiconductor global back-end manufacturing. Simply put, the country that has the best quality and cheap workforce wins the investments.

@@tushittalwar9689 Most low-tech manufacturing companies are shifting from China to Vietnam due to tariffs and sanctions. Foreign companies are still keen on selling goods to China because it's a big market, but they do not want to be slapped with tariffs by the Chinese government, so they set up their factories in Vietnam close to Chinese border and rebrand the goods as "made in Vietnam" to bypass the tariffs.
It's true that Taiwan manufactured 63.8% of the world's semiconductors, however, most electronic goods do not require high tech 7nm chips. Legacy chips are still used in most electronic goods from kitchen appliances to gadgets such routers, electric cars, entertainment system etc. Hence why China is set to dominate the legacy chip market in the future. This is the market that Malaysia is aiming for as many Western countries want to derisk from the Chinese market and look for alternative country that can produce legacy chips at competitive prices.

Singapore lokasi strategik..takde hasil bumi tapi org tetap dtg sbb dia punya port tu kedua paling bz di dunia..daripada dorg attract MNC utk setup office n then tarik bank seluruh dunia utk setup office..bila duit masuk baru dorg invest dlm education utk provide human resources yg mantap n venture into tech.. Singapore sama mcm HK..bermula dengan port barulah duit masuk n blh invest tempat lain.. penduduk tak ramai sbb tu dorang nampak kaya sbb sorg org kaya di sana blh menyebabkan 10 org miskin nampak kaya atas kertas (bila dikira average income per population)..tp hakikat dilapangan ade je homeless n di HK contohnya ade yg hidup dlm sangkar sbb org kaya n expat menyebabkan hartanah jadi mahal..
