Always still welcome in Boston !!! I am a product of Irish immigration. As an Irish American with extended family still in Ireland we always welcome Irish nationals in Boston Massachusetts USA ☘🗽
I left Ireland during this time. I was 16 in 2010/2011... When I was growing up you could work in a Café or Building Site or even McDonalds and you could afford to go on holidays and buy a house... I was in still in school in 2008 when everything started falling apart , we lost the family business and in the end my mam had to give up our home. So at 16 , just out of school with no prospects and no work to be found I emigrated to the UK , where at the time things were much better. But now the economy is in tatters but I can't afford to move back home so for the meanwhile I'm stuck here

This is madness in Ireland and other EU countries where there is high youth unemployment, and their young people have to leave to find work, yet their governments allow immigration in such large numbers. It is not as if they are (mainly) coming with skills that your own young people could not do. The numbers are so unbalanced as they are mostly young men who arrive. Who are they going to settle down with? We reap what we sow and I just cannot see how this will end well. Very sad for the families in Ireland who see their young people, often never to return.
is Ireland that bad ? bc Im planning to go live there but I saw there is anti migration movements also you mentioned young men who arrive , is there a age preferance or a gender preferance as for who should be there and who shouldn't ?

Best of luck whoever you are. I am currently in the process of going to the UK - very good IT job lined up and very good value for rent outside of London (Simply not there in Dublin anymore)
Irish people's fate are somewhat a little similar to the fate of my home countrymen which is in a third world country, the only country in Asia that has majority of Catholics, we look for greener opportunities outside our country, seek better life in order to send money back home to our families and help improve the country's economy. Lately I've been watching documentaries about Ireland, it breaks my heart and always in tears to see what happened to them in the previous centuries which was the great Famine. In the 1960's and on, it was heartbreaking to watch seeing Irish in Dublin were in poverty, which made me wonder I was luckier to have been born in the 60's from the third world country cause we never experienced that extreme poverty. My countrymen if ever were poor are actually sustainable living in their provinces cause they can fish, plant vegetables as it grows naturally abundant because of our tropical climate. I feel sad that the Irish people especially the children had to go through that, I cannot imagine what it's like to live in a country during winter without heater or blankets etc. I observed that countries with populous of Catholics have more poor families, abortion and birth control led most poor couples make dozens of children living in slums, under the bridges, etc.. I wish my own countrymen will come across documentaries about Ireland and its people fate, to learn and be grateful for what we have or had even though it was run by corrupted government from the past and maybe in the near future, because even so we never experienced great Famine. The current government is doing its best and utmost way to evade corruption. Our people should unite rather than always complain, to better their lives.
A lot of Irish people in Australia have overstayed their visas and will be caught and deported ( the tax office is linked to the immigration department)

At 12:06 I think you mean property, not real estate.
We need are young men home. Governments plans to rid our land of our people, to replace them.
Irish people willl always travel for work unless you get a break at home. Irish people work harder abroad because they dont have to pay as much tax. The reason Ireland has such high taxes is that half the country are on welfare or income support. There are jobs in multinatiionals but you woyld need to spend years in third llevel education .There is life after schooll and its in other countries
There is plentiful of work, it was held back from are young to give to others.
Never date single moms
I can safely say they're not in the market for pigs or children. The first they don't need , the second they already have ;)
Duffer Man false. Not factual. Lie based on lack of objective use for them I.e ain't nobody needing that atm
*YOU* are why abortion is necessary.

Dont come to new Zealand irish have a bad name here
Can you elaborate further?
Yes getting a bad name in Australia too for scamming the elderly pretending to do work around peoples houses demanding half the money upfront and not returning.... police in Melbourne looking for lots of Irish tradesmen. Had to put out a public alert. Allow them a visa and they threaten and scam our elderly. A lot have over stayed there visas . It’s pretty bad.
@@judythomas2345 Hi Judy, I was in Melbourne in 1996 , enjoyed my time there, yes the Irish have a bad name but the Ausies no saints either. Been at the butt end of both. I got seriously assaulted 1 night outside a pub in Melbourne by bouncers who shouldn't have been in the country. Every country has good and bad.
@@judythomas2345 Irish gypsies different race of people
@Judy Thomas That's the irish Gypsies. They are Irish but they're hated just as much here as abroad.
What's new here this has been happening for a couple hundred years how could you make a living in a place with such a small population
