Is the pattern of put one on and connect, then connect again consistent?
When you're doing the first decrease row, does it matter which tips you pair together? Or can you just put either tip(s) in each slip?

I love making these things and displaying them but i hate how much time it takes to make each piece, i wish there was a machine that could fold them for u.

Hi every time I try to increase to the 3 normal rows of 16 it always starts coming apart and loosing at the bottom. how do you keep it tight to where the pieces don't move?
Use glue or put more rows on top
The decreases are impossible
im a beginner in this kind of craft and I faced difficulties when i try to decrease. My pieces always comes off when i try to decrease. Is there any technique or secret of doing this? Or you suggest using different gsm type of paper or anything that can help ? Thanks in advance =D
You can use glue or add more rows on that so they won't fall out

Where do you find black paper? I have some but it's a bit thicker than my other paper and so it's kind of annoying to assemble. =\
Then use it but do 1/64 I have this stiff card board paper so i don't fold in half and do the triangle thing first if know what I mean

ok i'm doing 3d origami for a while now, and my problem is always the beginning. It seems that mine doesnt turn up, but stays flat:S
Any tips and tricks on this issue?
+Radical LittleDancer I have had the same issue. I was told that the paper is not thick enough or you just need to keep adding rows and work it into the rounder shape.
