Cary Grant leaves me breathless! If a man can be beautiful, he fits it. His home that he lived in in Palm Springs is not far from where I live. My brother knows his daughter Jennifer. NO ONE WILL MATCH THE CHARM AND CHARISMA CARY HAD. A ONE OF A KIND!! LOVE YOU CARY!!
I went into the video store a week ago and said to the owner "Do you have Notorious on DVD? I've fallen in love with Cary Grant and I can't help myself." He said "Yeah. It happens all the time."
Beautiful, absolutely wonderful. I love it. There was and is no one like Cary Grant. And this tribute proved it. I loved how you ended it. Happy Thoughts, ~ R.C.
Hard to beat this one. Here you have two people who were just gorgeous, but beyond that they both exude intelligence, breeding, and charm. It seems all lost these days.
@geekery15 ... now, now.... we have to be sophisticated about our expressions.... this is class personified. The greatest love scenes ever put on on film, in my not so humble opinion, especially at the end when he rescues her and those closeups and the whisperings of love, and it was all fm the neck up and and noone took their clothes off !
Oh my god - you used Peggy Lee - perfect perfect choice and perfect to set against the love of Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman. I wish they did many more films together
One of my favorite movie hearthrobs... since I was 13!! Nice montage, and both Peggy Lee's voice and Gershwin's song make a great background music! Thanks for posting.
@aussie1689 HELL there was never an actor who ever entertained so well slapstick to drama and who wore a suit so well as Cary Grant...making this is slow motion amplifies that effect exponentially to the nth degree LOL
I LOVE CARY GRANT ... he's just so fluid if you guys know what I mean. I've always said I would have loved to have a little foray to the other side with Flynn but ... Grant would be my permanent guy or Stewart.
I was JUST thinking the same thing and was about post thought when I saw yours. This post is so wonderful and perfection with Peggy singing this Gershwin jewel.
I was in love with Cary Grant from his first frame in FATHER GOOSE, then went backwards and TRULY fell love in with him in the PHILADEPHIA STORY then was addicted and still am. Your video was good but would have been grand had you thank the brothers responsible for this tremendous song from PORGY AND BESS, please change your end credits to lyrics by Ira Gershwin and score by George Gershwin. ~ Janet Thompson Deaver
@IngridBergmanRocked your comment is 3 yrs old, but is the re-release DVD of Notorious a new DVD or do you mean as alternative to VHS video? I bought a 4 set Anchor Bay high quality VHS with Notorious, Rebecca, Spellbound and The Paradine Case. about 5 yrs ago. Amazon review of DVD of Notorious at that time said film showed flaws, specs due to original studio film and he suggested the velvety creamy black/white of a high quality video. But if better DVD I want it.
I just finished reading one of Cary's bios, and the author stated that he had "feverish crushes" on the following (4) leading ladies: Irene Dunne, Ingrid Bergman, Grace Kelly & Sophia Loren. Now, when I watch NOTORIOUS, a happy voice is singing in my head "Cary's got a feverish crush on Ingrid, fa-la-la-la-la...la-la-la-laaaaa!
ertreri Perhpas Devlin got Alicia to the hospital in time. After a few days of stomach pumping, state of delirium and endless amounts of fluids placed into her system: Alicia wakes up finding Devlin waiting for her (refencing to early in the film) and this time they are now free to be together.
It should be mentioned that this song is from the Gershwin borthers. It is considered a standard. Peggy Lee did a great job singing it but it is as much a Peggy Lee song as it is one of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Barbara Streisand, etc...
Not in a million years will you ever find another Cary Grant not in a million , he was sheer perfection.

Today's so-called "stars" can't hold a candle to the stars of yesteryear when acting was an art and beauty was real.
I can each time fall in love with this man...too beautiful and charmant.... =.=
One of the sexiest films ever, these two had IT for sure
I went into the video store a week ago and said to the owner "Do you have Notorious on DVD? I've fallen in love with Cary Grant and I can't help myself." He said "Yeah. It happens all the time."
Wow! The chemistry they had. Cary Grant is such a stud =] I love him!!!
The best love scenes ever put on film, especially the end when he goes to her in her room for the rescue... "Oh.. you love me, you love me"
I long to go back to those days.
My mom got to meet Mr. Grant when she worked for Merv Griffin. She said he was exactly like he was in the movies. He was older but he still had it.
I believe (SIGH)...
+Rockabilly Chola Oh god. She is so lucky! I wish i could have met him. He was so charming and handsome.
He never lost it, amirite?
A very beautiful movie with two marvellous interpreters (Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant)

Beautiful, absolutely wonderful. I love it. There was and is no one like Cary Grant. And this tribute proved it. I loved how you ended it.

TOTAL PERFECTION.
Wow! the singer and orchestra. Thank you.
Hard to beat this one. Here you have two people who were just gorgeous, but beyond that they both exude intelligence, breeding, and charm. It seems all lost these days.
He was first chosen for the suave and very dangerous secret agent. He turned it down so FOR ME! He will always be the first James Bond :)
Cary Grant, bellissimo!!!

I know what you mean. There isn't an actor alive that is sexy like Cary, or even Gene, Paul, or Tyrone.
I love this song and also the movie ...Notorious..
Meraviglioso film❤❤❤
George Gershvin klassiker, Peggy Lee, Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman- der var bare fantastisk ! Perfekt sang- musik-film ! Thanks !

The last picture...............ohhhhh:)
I LOVE CARY GRANT ... he's just so fluid if you guys know what I mean. I've always said I would have loved to have a little foray to the other side with Flynn but ... Grant would be my permanent guy or Stewart.

Cream of the crop ♥️👌🏼Cary Gee always meticulously attired 😎well groomed from top to bottom 🥰fine gentleman, unruffled 💘😎
I was JUST thinking the same thing and was about post thought when I saw yours. This post is so wonderful and perfection with Peggy singing this Gershwin jewel.
A new dvd is being re-released October 14, 2008.
Im definitely adding it to my collection.
sublime bravo !!
Ingrid & Cary are strangely modern. Both actors would have careers today.
Wonderful :)

Great Post Thanks -
He would’ve been a good “Bond”
splendidooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ^_^
nagyon szep !!!
Conducted and produced by Frank Sinatra under his Reprise label. He adored and highly valued Peggy as a singer and a woman with class. ;-)
@H24L Agree with you. Actualy who would be compare to him?
Certain people never take a bad photograph amongst.. Princess Diana, Elvis Presley, Gary Cooper, Clark Gable, Errol Flynn and my Daddy..
@Cybele1986 Oh, I love your post...... "and I can't help myself." "Yeah, it happens all the time." :)

I hope my boyfriend understands. If not...
OH WELL:D
Ou sont les hommes d'antan?
Hey....It's James Bond
1:15
Disculpa pero tu foto perfil cuadra muy bien con esta hermosa canción.
Peggy Lee
Play it again Sam....sorry Ingrid, wrong movie!
Devlin and alicia at the end of the film were driving towards their last days together :(
ertreri Perhpas Devlin got Alicia to the hospital in time. After a few days of stomach pumping, state of delirium and endless amounts of fluids placed into her system: Alicia wakes up finding Devlin waiting for her (refencing to early in the film) and this time they are now free to be together.
Gostaria de saber quem canta. Não é a Brenda Lee, como consta acima à direita.
Just making sure that you know this song is actually by the Gershwin brothers sung by Peggy Lee, it's not actually by her.
Damn. I think I'm going to start smoking now.
It should be mentioned that this song is from the Gershwin borthers. It is considered a standard. Peggy Lee did a great job singing it but it is as much a Peggy Lee song as it is one of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Barbara Streisand, etc...
I'm seeing a lot more Ingrid Bergman than Catherine Hepburn here. Otherwise, really wonderful.
Kate Bush hizo un verdadero homenaje a esta canción...
tempest
He looked so cute when he smiled. It's a shame he didnt look like a person who smiled very often
This is very nice, but listen how Kate Bush did this song and you know it was written for her ....!
