I don’t care what the Current climate of Hip Hop is, Corey Gunz should have a place in it. I know everyone wants these big money deals, but you can go your own route and drop albums, maybe on a lesser scale than a major label but still. Corey is/was dope and it’s a shame we haven’t gotten a full length album from him and if he has the same skills I don’t see why he still couldn’t blow up.

I think Cory Gunz didn't succeed on a commercial level because he doesn't have a commercial sound. His punchlines go above a lot of people's heads and his flow is hard to rap along to. Commercial audiences prefer catchy flows and simple bars they can understand & repeat easily.
