I like to think that the only reason he held her in their last moments is the fact that Kanroji needed comfort and he didnt want to be selfish and held her, plus the though that he'll leave the "tainted blood" behind anyways as he dies and gets reborn with "purer" blood, which is the motivation he used to confess his love to her.
I'm not gonna lie, the songs you picked aren't that good. especialy since this about tomioka. If you do a part two, I recomend you pick something that matches tomioka a bit more. Overall, this was well produced and I can't wait to see what you're gonna post in the future!!

Mount Everest has a more arrogant tone to it, which is the exact OPPOSITE of his actual character. Oh No! doesnt fit because it has more of a.. perfectionist mindset to it: "if i fail, i'll fall apart," isnt really reflecting him very well and the next lyrics dont either. Prom Queen just doesnt fit because he doesnt have body issues, he has self worth issues. They are not the same nor are they interchangeable.
