When this song came out it was when he was going through his parents going crazy. His mom was his manager for his money he made on tour because he had no reason to believe that she would do anything. She bought three, million dollar houses under his nose and gave on of them to a crackhead that’s been trying to drag upchurchs name down. A few months prior he let his dad borrow a tractor then when he asked for it back his dad posted a video pretty much saying he would shoot him if he tried getting it back referring to upchurchs song “come and get it”. I’m still pretty surprised that all that happened because he did a lot for them and he has his mom on 2 heart touching songs
I agree with everything. But one thing. If the crackhead u refrenced was in one of the houses Upchurch found, and went and investigated, he would be a. On bond fighting a assault or manslaughter charge, or b. A suspect in a dissappearence. She was trying to sell them.

That's your opinion. Upchurch is way more talented than both of them, Acal even credits Upchurch for getting him back into music.
