Active’s video demonstration on the “serviceability” of this machine should be enough to dissuade anyone from buying it at this price point. Get the AR for not much more or save up for the Kranzle.
@@justinschuyler have you ever priced parts for the AR ? my 630tss failed and lost a rod. The cost to rebuild was near the same as buying a new one. Just replaced with the 2.3 and see no loss in performance. Parts are cheaper god forbid something goes wrong and the warranty is 2 years unlike the 1 year for the AR.
@@justinschuyler I agree the serviceability of the Active 2.3 is misleading. It’s basically a full rebuild of the unit except your putting the same parts back in service minus the old oil. I don’t get what Active was thinking about when they designed this model and the loud sound generated by the unit.
Pan, you're always diligent to remind your viewers to wear protective gear such as gloves. I'd urge everyone to think the same way about hearing protection. You said yourself that this machine is too loud - well, that's what hearing protection is for. The ringing in your ears should be telling you that you need a good set of ear protectors.
I have a 1322 and absolutely love it. My father just purchased this 2.3. He mounted it to an old gas pressure washer cart. I will say the 2.3 is very loud but being his setup is mobile and it sits outside while washing its not bad at all. I will also say performance wise it will out perform my 1322..
I am a weekend warrior and am enjoying my Active 2.0 pressure washer, MTM 50’ hose and Active short spray nozzle. The price point for the 2.0 is what attracted me as well as the performance. It was all highly rated by an amazing UA-camr named Pan the Organizer…ever heard of him?? . Thanks for the review Pan. Much love.
Thanks for your work. I read the comments and most are positive and constructive. It has me feeling I'm part of a community, not having a pushy utuber lecturing is a pleasure.
Thanks man. Yeah I am proud of the Pan The Organizer family and community we have built in the eight years since I started my channel. I’m the only big detailing channels that takes the time to reply to viewers’ comments on a daily basis on UA-cam. It can get overwhelming as you can imagine with an audience over 1 million subscribers, as I can spend four hours every day just to reply to UA-cam comments. But it allows me to stay close to my viewers and I will continue to reply for as long as humanly possible. 👍🏻
Buy once cry once, my Kranzle was one of my first detailing investments, with OG Mosmatic trigger sprayer and wand and quick disconnects. Expensive, yes. But in the long run maybe cheaper and so sweet to use.
In Australia I think that the 2.0 unit is fantastic. I think that it is like the difference between owning a Porsche to a Hyundai. They are both fantastic cars and they do the same job. The rest is just extras. Well done active.
Pan thanks for mentioning that this pressure washer is way too loud for washing in doors without hearing protection. For a few dollars more I went with the AR630 and it’s very quiet for indoor use.
To use hearing protection if using it . And what about testing the decibels of each pressure washer as it is being used and compare them . At what level is it safe to not wear hearing protection ? And at what level it is a must ? Though maybe how frequent a car detailer uses a pressure washer , to use hearing protection no matter what .
Well done, thank you. You typically are mindful and remind veiwers when ppds are recommended or required. Ear protection should be reqired when operating this one. I was able to test this unit at a sponsored demo days. Loved the water out quantity, pressure, and styling; completly shocked by the very loud irritating sound and the price. I simply could not imagine using in a enclosed space. As you likey know the addition of a long gun is a requirement if sold in the USA, at 85 to 90 db it should be a set of ear protection instead. My brother has the 2.0 version, and experanced occasional surging using 1/4 inch (6.5mm) 50 foot (15m) , 3,000 psi (207 bars) Uberflex hose. He switched to a 3/8 inch (9.5mm) 4,000 psi (275 bars) 50 foot (15m) 😊Uberflex hose. No more surgeing and the 3/8" does not twist or loop nearly as much as the 1/4" Uber. I currently use a Krinzle 1622ts, 1.8 gpm @ 975 to 1,000 psi w/3.5 nozzles, under 15 amp draw with /1.1 orifice foam cannon, so my expectation are surely skewed.
Great video PÀN. I just got a brand new 2.0 and love it. The VE52 that i had lasted over 3 years. The 2.0 is everything advertised! 👍👍 Blessings from USA 🇺🇸 GGG 😎
Great honest review, spot on in my opinion. The Active 2.3 has perfect pressure for washing cars combined with the water flow. No high pitched noises from the motor, which I hate more than the low frequency noise produced by the 2.3's pump. It is loud but it's not THAT loud. It's a keeper. If you have the cash, the Kranzle is the way to go though. No doubt. If your're just getting started and have purchased very little to nothing yet, just buy the Obsessed Garage Kranzle solution and call it done.
Thanks for sharing. Active just released an accessories kit for their pressure washers. They did a video here: ua-cam.com/video/16wDbig3SQU/v-deo.htmlsi=dcFeoSBanRKXqCN1
Still using the VE52 sold under the Canadian Tire Brand (Simoniz) wall mounted and still works great. When it dies will certainly look at the 2.0 and 2.3, but noise might be the deciding factor.
I have it and love the 2.3. I use it outside on my driveway all the time, and compared to my old karcher k1800, this thing wasn't that loud, definitely better sounding unit than a high squeal sound
Yeah for sure performance wise, the Active 2.3 obliterates any Karcher K series. The Active 2.3 can actually compete with the big boys like AR Blue, Kranzle, in terms of raw performance (GPM, PSI, etc). Durability will be interesting to follow. But for sure for a guy who details in his garage like me, the 2.3 is way too loud, and I'm not about to start wearing ear protection when washing the car. I already wear some when blow drying the car, but it would kill the pleasure I have washing a car, if I have to start wearing ear protection when pressure washing. And besides that, I love my Kranzle even more hehe. I gave the 2.3 to my dad, and the 2.0 to my brother, so they now both have awesome pressure washers. My dad washes his car in his driveway, while the pressure washer is in the garage, so the noise doesn't bother him.
Well overview of pressure washers put together Pan. Still waiting for Matt to sell his Kranzle in Canada or i'll grab the AR as im looking for a small unit. Cheers my friend! ✌
I don't see a difference between the Kranzle 1622TS on Carzilla (which they likely source from Matt) or the 1622TS on Obsessed Garage's website. Matt clearly states on his website that the specs are: - Measured Flow: 1.6 GPM - Measured Pressure: 1450 PSI And he recommends using it with a 3.5 orifice to maximize the flow. So they seem to be identical units. You just use the orifice you want to control flow/pressure.
@@PanTheOrganizer Matt small Kranzle with same specs are your 1122 is called the K1322TS if im not mistaken. He's been preaching to not buy the 1622 since it's weak flow specs.
Bought one, but haven’t used it yet. Challenge is lining up 1.45mm foam cannon orifices. I picked up a couple 1.4mm ones, but awaiting Active telling me if their use would exceed 15 amps or hurt the unit.
Would like to know how that will work. The orifice they give for the cannon gives very runny foam. I’m thinking of sending it back. With original orifice it give awesome foam but exceeds 17amps.
Great video Pan! I love my Active 2.3! I don't notice the noise too much since it's in my garage and I wash outside, but I agree it's a bit loud. My 2.3 is paired with an Adam's 60'' steel braided hose and the Active short gun!
Na, I have been using a Bauer 2000 PSI power washer from Harbor Freight for a few years and it works very well for cleaning vehicles and can run just fine on 110v 15a outlets oh and I paid $160 for it.
I recently purchased the active 2.3. Its performance is absolutely top of the industry. The noise you have referred to is so minor. I have had an ARBlue and it doesn’t out perform the 2.3. I highly recommend it……..
I'm a new weekend car detailer. Active should sell a complete kit with decent accessories. After spending a lot of money I don't want to spend more money on accessories that may or may not work.
With the 2.0 at least, a full kit is the only way to buy one anymore. Active used to offer the pressure washer by itself, but they no longer do. A PW shouldn't require matched accessories like the steel braided hose to work properly. AFAIK Active is the only brand that has problems with aftermarket hoses.
I wish Active would sell just the unit for a reduced cost. Most people are going to "upgrade" components like hoses, nozzles, cannons etc. And the vast majority of people buying an Active most like already have those components. Which means the consumer is paying extra money for components that are literally going to either go in a box, or a trash bin. If they shaved $100 bones off the units I'm sure they would sell a lot of them to people who already have their chosen accessories.
I agree I'd rather pay $50 less for just the unit but if they didn't include the wand and hose, etc. there would be customers returning it and leaving bad reviews since it didn't come with it, so for us who want our own wands, we just won't use them but likely still be happy. From the companies stand point, they're covering themselves by including them.
Hi Pan, I don’t if in Canada o USA many people use the car wash. In my town I don’t can use the pressure washer in garage … can you do a video for people like me? I don’t can use the buckets but I can use only my products and the pressure washer with coins. I don’t know if you understood me 😅 I don’t speak very well English…
There's the AVA GO P45 XL also which just released in the US. They offer a 10-year warranty with a recommended, like 20 USD, maintenance package after 5 years. I hope someone will also sell it in Canada. 🤞
Gonna be honest with u Pan. I love mine but I am very frustrated that they say u have to run a 1.45mm orifice with the foam cannon but only give u one and have no plans to make more available. 🤷🏾. If I could do it over. I would have just go the 2.0. 😢
Been waiting for this review. I really like the 2.0 version all the average guy needs. Not seeing the real value in the 2.3 way too loud. Get their short gun and the 2.0 and you are set.
Active has a "Premium Accessory Bundle" coming this fall for $300, comes with M22-14mm to 3/8 adapter, 50’ 5/16 Steel Braided Rubber Hose, Active Swivel Gun, Active Foam Cannon and Active 20° Bent Lance. Combined with an Active 2.3 Pressure Washer puts the total price around $950. Active might be able to drop the price a bit by eliminating the stock accessories. I upgraded from the 2.0 to the 2.3 unit and am happy but the noise is loud, however acceptable for my driveway/open-garage usage. I have a 20 amp circuit but sometimes like to use the setup at friend's/relative's houses with 15 amp circuits. Good experience so far but wish it was less noisy.

A bunch of content creators have 10% off coupons and active does not charge shipping and taxes in the US. Pretty big savings. This is my first pressure washer and I love it. I’m going to make a sound dampening box to cover it with enough space to vent it. Also, regarding the pump head, I used mine for well over an hour straight. I cleaned my garage floor and washed the car. It was ice cold to the touch after running it.
@@RichardsWorld My hearing is better good and I have fired over 100,000-rounds of ammo. "To determine the actual amount of decibel deduction applied (when decibels are measured dB which is the most common), you take the NRR number (in dB), subtract seven, and then divide by two." Cheap ear muffs are NRR 28. The Active 2.3 is ~90-db, so (28-7)/2= 10.5. So the sound from the Active 2.3 is now 90 -10.5 = 79-db or similar to the noise of a busy downtown street, a noisy restaurant, or a vacuum cleaner.
@@mach179 I was just saying that as a joke. I was in the Navy for 20 years and my hearing sucks. I even get that towards my disability. Anyways, I didn't know that formula for the hearing plugs. That's nice to know.
Im just a weekend detailer that only does a few cars a week. Whwn my current Ryobi 1800 goes, I'll probably upgrade to the Active 2.0. But we'll see whats available at what price at that time. I need to find some videos comparing the 2.0 and the 2.3. But I admit that im definitely leaning towards a 2.0.
The sound is the problem for sure. They dropped the ball there big time and surprised they didn't think of it themselves. Mine though is no where near as loud as the audio is making it, but it is much louder than the others in this category outside of the Comet 1700. It is either illegal or against some type of import rule that in the box with the pressure washer you can not have the ability to basically shoot yourself in the eye. LOL. You can have a short gun or short style gun, but no way can you use any accessory in the box to allow you to basically shoot your eye out. Ego for example has a shorter gun, but its using a 3/8 quick disconnect at the end and the nozzles are 1/4. You need the wand to convert from 3/8 top 1/4. AVA has a shorter gun, but you need their special adapter wand to use the 1/4 nozzles.
Hey Keav! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree with what you said. If Active can somehow correct how loud the 2.3 is with a next version, they have a bang for buck winner.
Pan, great video! Regarding the shipping of small guns, the US will not ship it out due to the US customs because when you x Ray it'll look like a firearm.
Really? That sounds odd, as so many pressure washer short guns are being imported into the USA (Mosmatic for example, sold by Obsessed Garage) and exported outside the USA... Welcome to my channel. it sounds nothing like this in person, alot quieter then a karcher 1700 and the active 2.0, i have all three units and the 2.3 is a more pleasant-sounding unit.
Great review. You are right. Way too loud. It was too loud for my earbuds listening. I believe in most industrial settings, the dB threshold for ear protection is between 80-85 dB. I really don't want to have that much noise. I'm so sorry. Not for me.
Terrific video Pan! The noise on that machine is crazy, I just couldn't do it to my neighbours! Do you have a recommended pressure washer that is VERY quiet? I'm only a weekend warrior, so I don't need much flow or pressure but noise is my biggest concern
Thanks! Of course, by nature, a pressure washer will always generate noise. There's no going around that. But some are less noisy than others. See my pressure washer recommendations at different price points in this video: ua-cam.com/video/_UwK_0VDK0o/v-deo.htmlsi=jStQX2CXs581jxkP
Ive had the Active 2.0 for a bit over a year, so far so good. It sounds horrible and sometimes gives off an electrical smell, but Ive washed 20-30 vehicles with it. If it lasts, its perfect for someone that doesn't want to spend a bunch of $$ but washes 1-2 vehicles a month. Not sure I would ever buy the 2.0. I have the AR630TSS in my garage. Bought the Active 2.0 for to use at another house.
The price for this in my region is crazy. Agree with you about the included accessories. I have no idea why they even bothered. They could have knocked the price down just by eliminating a lot of that fluff. Most buyers of this unit will be enthusiasts who'll already have their own accessories. Seems to me they included a few cheap additions just to rack the price up. I know this is a performance unit but there are just too many design decisions I don't agree with. Mainly the included accessories that I feel are throw aways. Maybe if they come out with a "Unit Only" option I would consider my upgrade towards this unit but as it stands, with the noise and low tier accessories, I have zero interest in this. I'm really disappointed if I am to be honest. I feel like they are trying to cash in on their brand name with the included accessories and price.
The pump on this is unlikely to ever overheat. Unlike a gas machine it only rotates when the trigger is pulled so there is always water flowing through to cool it.

The new Collinite Beadcoat as a base - can replace ultralock plus and then top the bead cost with Collinite slickr- Just a thought
Nice job, I like any brand as long as it provides good GPM. I’m looking for a new steamer. Have you anything important to say about steamers , I’m not that familiar in the pro brands when it comes to steamers. Something that will get daily usage in a stationary setup.

I'm with you Pan, this thing is way too loud. Anyone washing in their garage with this should be wearing hearing protection. The foam blaster is ridiculous for their target market, and I think the inclusion of that style of gun was a purposeful choice to extract more money out of you in the form of accessories after the fact. I don't have a detailed understanding of the US law on gun length, but I think they could sell it with the short gun and the wand extension together and still be in compliance. There should also be an option for a bare unit with zero accessories. I appreciate that they are trying to innovate here, but I have some serious doubts about the durability of that pump head with how hard they are pushing it. It definitely has a designated lifetime that it was designed for and it was built to a price point.
The ar630tss is 789.99 US at the clean garage. Free shipping as well. Much better unit than the active 2.3 for not much more money. That thing there is way too loud IMO. Thanks Pan as always great review.
The garage is big enough that water doesn’t really splash on the walls. And I have 13’ high ceilings so that’s of no concern neither. I have two drains. See my full garage tour for all the custom details that allow me to work worry free: ua-cam.com/video/wx6HTBAzeXI/v-deo.htmlsi=qavBOHa1dK9mYwTe
PAN, Greetings from England. I need a little advice please. I've ordered a new Toyota in Silver. It's not coated in any way, so I'm going to apply wax to it by hand as I don't have a machine polisher. I was thinking about a product from Poorboys - what do you recon? Cheers.
I have a lowly Simoniz 2000psi electric PW... I put quick connects on the MTM fittings, and it works...should I have replaced the stock hose instead, or did I just end up buying more male/female quick connect adaptors than I needed?
you can replace the stock hose if you have the money for it. I have the upgraded simoniz hose and it is much better than the one they give with the unit. Comes with adapters to hook up to different oriented simoniz washers. I just reused the hose for my new power washer which needed a different adapter form the kit. rippe dthe hose it came with right off asap.
I just got one. It is loud, but I use it outside, so it is no factor for me. It's infinitely quieter than my gas washer. The flow is awesome. I'll echo Pan on the blaster... junk. I mixed my Mr. Pink in the same ratio in the blaster and my cheap cannon using the provided 1.45mm orifice. There is no comparison... thick foam from my cannon and thin, watery soap from the blaster. I use a stubby, but I found the lance very comfortable to use with my gas pressure washer to clean my driveway. It has a light pull and a more comfortable grip compared to what came with my washer. I guess that's a win. I'm happy it came with the hose, but drop the rest and instead include a real foam cannon.
Hi Pan, I just bought the Active 2.0 pressure washer (always a set ahead of the newly released products - dang). Do you know the correct size of quick connect fitting I’ll need to set up my 2.0 washer. Nothing in the supplied packaging in regards to inlet/outlet sizes. Ie garden hose to pump, pump to high pressure hose and finally hose to Active gun. I’m totally confused on these size fittings. I’ll continue watching the entire video (may answer my question?)
To make is simple, Active just released a kit with everything you need, including fittings. Or you can just buy the fittings separately. Here’s their video: ua-cam.com/video/16wDbig3SQU/v-deo.htmlsi=dcFeoSBanRKXqCN1
I have a water softener in my current home, and had one in my previous home as well. So I have had water softeners for well over a decade at this point and never saw signs of it corroding anything. Also, I have a water deionizer setup in my garage, for ZERO minerals, when I want to do a final rinse with DI water so never get any water spotting issues.
this thing will literally cause hearing damage over time and kills what would otherwise be a great unit. I spent an extra $60 bucks on sound deadening insulation and sound dampening foam and built a noise-reducing box for the thing and it's still frustratingly loud.
Hey Pan! Hope you're well! Unrelated question - are you still diluting P&S Brake Buster at 5:1, 10:1? I'm trying to find that right mix. thanks! I'm currently at 5:1. Any other products you dilute regularly that you can share you ratios?

@@PanTheOrganizerreally? Why are you using foam cannon for brake buster? Also, considering that bb is on the lighter end strength wise for wheel cleaners it’s interesting to hear you’re diluting it even more when it’s already being diluted from it being used with foam cannon.
To wash cars you don’t want to go over 2000 psi. The sweet spot is typically 900-1100 psi while maximizing water flow (gpm). So I set my Kranzle to 1000 psi and it pumps out 2.1 gpm of water thanks to a 4.5 orifice nozzle
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks for the reply but I wanted to know the reason why/how you came up with 900-1000psi as being the sweet spot? Assuming everyone is paying attention I see no reason why we wouldn’t be able to utilize 2000-2500psi to try and obtain the most cleaning power which is why I originally wanted to ask you as 900psi seems a bit low. Tia.
Because most of the time, when you optimize for maximum GPM, you decrease pressure. Bigger orifice means more GPM but also less pressure. Physics. It just so happens that on most high quality pressure washers, when you start to modify the orifice, to get maximum flow, the pressure falls to around 1000 psi My ultra high end Kranzle 1122TST pressure washer has a maximum pressure of 1400 psi anyways. The most important is its 2.1 gpm water output. It’s a complex conversion if you’re new to pressure washers as it involves playing with orifices to optimize what you want out of it. Don’t overthink the moment. If you have a good pressure washer you can use it as is. No need to modify it. As long as you don’t use pressure above 2000 psi you’re fine. If you are interested in modifying your pressure washer, I highly recommend you go to the Obsessed Garage channel, he has tested and modified pretty much all the pressure washers people like, so you can see his testing and recommendations.

I have the 2.3 and the noise is only unbearable on the computer, outside it's fine. I'm also coming from a sunjoe spx3000 & 3500. I wouldn't mind quieter, but it is so much louder in your video lol
In my garage it was too much. Most people who tried it that way have the same complaint. Outside it’s fine. I gave it to my father as he washes his car outside and he’s super happy with it. Performance wise it’s a beast.
I guess so, but I like the frame to make it easier to pick up and move around. The frame is intended for wall mounting, but I prefer to move it around. That's why I appreciate how light the unit is. It doesn't seem that loud to me, but I use it outside.
@@mikemccormick6128 Yeah I just don't think it would fit in my trunk with the frame on it. Idk if I'll even get it I'm kinda worried about blowing people's breakers haha
So it's loud to the point of causing ear damage, $650, I'm always seeing people complaining about the Active 2.0 online, and if you connect it to a 20A circuit and inadvertently put in the incorrect orifices it'll blow itself up... Yeah, I'm a HARD PASS! I'm absolutely avoiding this unit. If I'm going to spend upwards of $500, I'm going to save up and buy the Kranzle unit. Otherwise I'll aim for the $200-300 price point.

Most may overlook the fact a lot of DI water systems can handle a max of 2.0 GPM. This would be a no for me as it won't work with my mixed resin bed for 0 PPM water.
I have a DI setup and it worked perfectly well with this pressure washer. Matt from Obsessed Garabe even ran dual Kranzle pressure washers (4.2 gpm) on the same DI setup with no problems.
@@PanTheOrganizer I had to do a little research after your reply, as when I got my di system a few years ago and was looking around...most portable ones like the on the go/ adams branded one with the by pass, were rated for 2.0gpm. I thought I recalled cr having a similar spec. Upon researching again today...they now say the spec for my system can handle 3.0 gpm (on the go 0r adams who rebrands them) and cr spotless is 2.5gpm. I stand corrected. End of the day water will still flow regardless of recommended max gpm but you lose effectiveness and efficiency if one goes over the rated gpm of the system. Cheers
No worries. I have the CR Spotless (their highest rated unit) and it works flawlessly with my Kranzle. I get that sweet 2.1 gpm, and set mine to just around 1000-1100 psi. Perfect for washing cars. I keep the DI for the final rinse, as I have a bypass valve on the DI tanks. I was blowing through way too much resin before having the bypass valve haha. How did you discover my channel by the way? @@justinschuyler have you ever priced parts for the AR ? my 630tss failed and lost a rod. The cost to rebuild was near the same as buying a new one. @@justinschuyler i’m thinking of getting the AR 630tss
Here's a thought... don't use a machine that requires hearing protection.

Much love.
Hehe thanks for the trust you place in my opinion Adam! Great pressure washer!
That was my worries when I saw the hose. Good to see it's flexible. I'm with u on the quick disconnect pan. Great video sir!! 👍🏻🇨🇦

Buy once cry once, my Kranzle was one of my first detailing investments, with OG Mosmatic trigger sprayer and wand and quick disconnects. Expensive, yes. But in the long run maybe cheaper and so sweet to use.
Yeah my Kranzle is an indestructible beast of machine.
We are talking about a pressure washer. You could buy 8 karchers that would last a lifetime
In Australia I think that the 2.0 unit is fantastic. I think that it is like the difference between owning a Porsche to a Hyundai. They are both fantastic cars and they do the same job. The rest is just extras. Well done active.

Hahahahahaa bro you always got the lines and jokes!
Blessings from USA 🇺🇸
GGG 😎
Good to know! What happened to the VE52 after 3 years? Was it dead?
Great honest review, spot on in my opinion. The Active 2.3 has perfect pressure for washing cars combined with the water flow. No high pitched noises from the motor, which I hate more than the low frequency noise produced by the 2.3's pump. It is loud but it's not THAT loud. It's a keeper. If you have the cash, the Kranzle is the way to go though. No doubt. If your're just getting started and have purchased very little to nothing yet, just buy the Obsessed Garage Kranzle solution and call it done.
Well said!
Before you get started I’m enjoying mine. It does a great job. The accessories I just left in the box.

@@PanTheOrganizer You're welcome.
Still using the VE52 sold under the Canadian Tire Brand (Simoniz) wall mounted and still works great. When it dies will certainly look at the 2.0 and 2.3, but noise might be the deciding factor.
It does have a unique sound, like the incoming missile alert at NORAD. My cat took cover.
Almost always garages have 20 amp ckts so they need to make pressure washers that utilize the full 20 ckts. Great review like always!
Thanks!
In Canada, you can get the K1622TS right here: tinyurl.com/yznry6xt
@@PanTheOrganizer 1.7 gpm Pan :(. Not the same as Matt, its exclusive to him.
I don't see a difference between the Kranzle 1622TS on Carzilla (which they likely source from Matt) or the 1622TS on Obsessed Garage's website. Matt clearly states on his website that the specs are:
- Measured Flow: 1.6 GPM
- Measured Pressure: 1450 PSI
And he recommends using it with a 3.5 orifice to maximize the flow.
@@Detailing_Dogma they are basically the same thing. Kranzle have been available in Canada for years now
Bought one, but haven’t used it yet.

@@Nanan00 sucks to be broke
Holy cow, Matt didn’t do the loudness any justice. It’s way louder in your video than in his 😂😂😂.
It's louder but only when comparing to the super quiet offerings. I use an Active 2.3 and it's not too bad when working in the driveway.
I recently purchased the active 2.3. Its performance is absolutely top of the industry. The noise you have referred to is so minor. I have had an ARBlue and it doesn’t out perform the 2.3. I highly recommend it……..
I have the AR Blue 675 and looking to switch to Active 2.0 or 2.3. How's the noise comparison?
I'm a new weekend car detailer. Active should sell a complete kit with decent accessories. After spending a lot of money I don't want to spend more money on accessories that may or may not work.
With the 2.0 at least, a full kit is the only way to buy one anymore. Active used to offer the pressure washer by itself, but they no longer do. A PW shouldn't require matched accessories like the steel braided hose to work properly. AFAIK Active is the only brand that has problems with aftermarket hoses.
They just announced a full kit for their pressure washers in this video: ua-cam.com/video/16wDbig3SQU/v-deo.htmlsi=Vhw98G7kd20LmFQ6
The accessories that come with this 2.3 are not bad and are perfect for your situation.
I agree they should always have a version without all the accessories.
Awesome video as always Pan take care brother!
Thanks man!! How are you doing brother?

There's the AVA GO P45 XL also which just released in the US. They offer a 10-year warranty with a recommended, like 20 USD, maintenance package after 5 years. I hope someone will also sell it in Canada. 🤞
Gonna be honest with u Pan. I love mine but I am very frustrated that they say u have to run a 1.45mm orifice with the foam cannon but only give u one and have no plans to make more available. 🤷🏾. If I could do it over. I would have just go the 2.0. 😢
The VE-52 is the best bang for the buck, 1.8-2.0 gpm at 1/3 the price.
Been waiting for this review. I really like the 2.0 version all the average guy needs.
Not seeing the real value in the 2.3 way too loud. Get their short gun and the 2.0 and you are set.
Thanks for watching!
2.3 sounds better than the 2.0 in my opinion

This is my first pressure washer and I love it. I’m going to make a sound dampening box to cover it with enough space to vent it.
Also, regarding the pump head, I used mine for well over an hour straight. I cleaned my garage floor and washed the car. It was ice cold to the touch after running it.
Shooting ear muffs at Walmart are $15.
How is your hearing? 😅
Good review, Pan. Thanks! 👍

It's very rare that noise translates well through videos, but that is painful to listen to even on a recording, god knows what it's like in person.
it sounds nothing like this in person, alot quieter then a karcher 1700 and the active 2.0, i have all three units and the 2.3 is a more pleasant-sounding unit.
I know what it sounds like in person because I own one. The noise isn't that bad in my opinion.
It’s not bad at all in person unless you are standing right next to it at ear level the entire time.
Helpful video as always Pan!
Glad you think so!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Pan, what's your take on the AVA of Norway pressure washers? Have you used them?
I haven't.
Can I have your old one? 🤣Great review pal!

@PanTheOrganizer Thank you pan!👋💪🔥😀
Sounds like a tornado siren 😂
You usually wear hearing protection when using something like a shop vac? This pw is quieter than a shop vac.
I have karcher k5 , a medium class pressure washer I guess, but I can only imagine the neighbours if I would get even this louder screecher 😂
it ain’t as loud as the Ryobi. I use every 2 weeks and the neighbors don’t seem to mind.

If the car is repainted, you have to wait 2 months before applying any form of protection, as the paint needs to gas out.

We need a Clean. PW. Give us a white pressure washer pan!
Most importantly a pressure washer we can buy that won't make me want aftermarket items.
M22 is the standard size for pressure washers...i think you'll need M22 to 3/8th for the garden hose.
To make is simple, Active just released a kit with everything you need, including fittings. Or you can just buy the fittings separately. Here’s their video: ua-cam.com/video/16wDbig3SQU/v-deo.htmlsi=dcFeoSBanRKXqCN1

@@PanTheOrganizerreally? Why are you using foam cannon for brake buster? Also, considering that bb is on the lighter end strength wise for wheel cleaners it’s interesting to hear you’re diluting it even more when it’s already being diluted from it being used with foam cannon.
It you wash your car in garage do you really need the CR spotless
Someone please tell me they see Dan aykroyd when they look at him. Strong facial features and both from Canada. 🤷🏾♂️
Hey Pan, I have a question on CarPro Darkside: can I use it on the windows rubber trims after a deep clean? 🤔
I only use it as a tire dressing
Hi pan, why do you want your psi so low at 950psi? Btw I think they said the new active units are made in Thailand?
Physics.
It just so happens that on most high quality pressure washers, when you start to modify the orifice, to get maximum flow, the pressure falls to around 1000 psi
My ultra high end Kranzle 1122TST pressure washer has a maximum pressure of 1400 psi anyways.
The machine is simply way to loud vs others , that is what I purchased the bigboi washer pro .
are the smooth kobrajet hoses steel braided?
It doesn’t seek like it. MTM just says they have a thicker inner wall. No mention of steel braided.
They make m22 to qc adaptors
I wonder if the loud sound is exacerbated by the frame it’s mounted to?
No, it makes no difference when you remove it from the frame.
You are better off buying an AR blue for that price tag 100%
Bought an ar blue 675 from zoro. With 20 percent off coupon it was 718 with tax! Absolutely love it and it's so quiet!!
I use it mobile.....thing is a pure beast
Performance wise yes absolutely. Tons of water flow!

They’re also coming out with a foam cannon and other accessories soon.
Yes I saw that
Yup, in October. I have the MTM foam cannon, but I might buy the Active one next year just to compare how different they are.
Hi Pan,
What about the noise? It seems that is he most noisy pressure washer on the market…
+/- 95 dB….
I spoke about the noise a lot in the video. Did you watch the video??
Is it durable for professional car washing equipment? At least reliable for 10-20 cars per day.
It’s not recommended for heavy duty professional use. No.
@PanTheOrganizer i see.. gotta buy it for my private garage, then
Happy Name Day!!
Efkaristo Vasili !!
I’m about to buy Pressure washer in my region. It’s 125 bar (1812 psi). Is this pressure range ok?
Yes. Anything below 2000 psi is perfect for washing cars. Don't go over 2000 psi (138 bar)
@@PanTheOrganizerThank you
i think its a great pressure washer but for tge price i rather get a comet where i can service it and make it last a much longer time then this
Can you get anything to tell you how many hours you’ve used on your old?
Nope
So if you take the power washer out of its frame you have a really awesome compact pressure washer?? Awesome I didn't know that 😁
Correct.
@@devonthetrain12 With the frame:
H= 12 ½ inches
L= 20 inches
W= 11 ¼ inches
@@mikemccormick6128 Thanks! 😁
I have a video I made with IMJOSHV about different pressure washer recommendations at different price points here: ua-cam.com/video/_UwK_0VDK0o/v-deo.htmlsi=AMWXu25WgwwWjAk2
It’s really not that loud.
