The library in my elementary school, for me as well. The librarian would dim the lights, and we would sit on the floor looking up at her while she would read softly and the dust jacket on the book would crinkle. And she would lick her fingers every time she turned the page..... 30 years later I still remember how lightheaded and tingly it made me feel 🥰
Ha ha I used to love getting my new school shoes in Clark's every year as well ! - also loved having my eyes tested - half the reason I became a librarian is because of how soothing I found everything to do with libraries!! :-)
I’m very sorry to hear that UA-cam has/will remove your verified tick. I just don’t understand why they would go to the effort of removing these ticks from so many channels instead of fixing the actual problems with the platform that could make the platform even better for everyone. Apparently they’re going through the trouble of only giving verified status to those “widely recognized outside of UA-cam”, in order to draw in celebrities and brands. It’s a small thing that probably won’t really affect your channel, but it really shows how hostile this platform is to its own creators :/
