I'm confused. At the second ending at 22:40, the hiker (I believe) screams, like at 12:15, but this time he does not die as he is saved by tower 2, the document says at the second ending. After 22:40, I notice that the voice over the radio is only angry. Am I right?
My running theory (SPOILERS): So it’s pretty clear that when the man sounds frantic and scared, that’s actually him, but when he sounds stern or angry that’s the monster impersonating him. BUT- Whenever you hear a “Nonhuman Scream” that’s because you led the monster to the wrong location. The monster isn’t hunting this guy, it’s hunting you, and knows this guy is trying to find you. Why else would turning right on the first fork in the road be called a “mistake?” The ranger would know that the trail still leads back to where the hiker should be one way or the other. It’s a mistake because you’re wasting it’s time. Why would it want to hunt you though? All of the cryptid notes and theories you’ve cooked up in your tower, it doesn’t want you to tell the public that it’s more than a “wild animal” like it’s presumed to be in Ending #2.
True. In a event something like this were to happen. Wildlife fish and game. With Park Rangers, the sheriff's department, skilled hunters/trackers even the FBI would get involved to find that entity. They wouldn't share that with the public though. It would be classified like a SCP foundation. They would spin the story blaming it on bears or whateverthat area has for dangerou predators. Park Rangers do not mess around. Once a report goes out a person was attacked by a wild animal. They will track that animal that same day until its caught/killed. Only know this because a family was attacked by a mountain lion on a hiking trail. No life threatening injuries. They tracked it same day. It was killed the next day.
26:28 what happent here was that the Fake Hiker speaked with you for showing your location then you didn't show him the lights and at the same time the Real Hiker got into the tower and said "Thank you" for saving him. The Fake Hiker and the Real Hiker are speaking with you at the same time (random) and for recognizing who is who, you need to lisent to his tone. If he is very calm then is the Fake Hiker, if he is scared with an agitated voice then is the Real Hiker.
There is a fourth ending by the way, when you lead the man to the empty tower the goatman will get angry and ask you to show him where you are with the floodlights. If you do so like you were debating in the stream Insym, then you will die but the lost hiker will live.
Jump scares are the tactic of poor story tellers. I personally hate them primarily because theres always a loud sound accompanied by it. It really shows how much you don't need a high budget or a long development process to make a good game, its short and scary. It puts everything you need into it, nothing more, nothing less! the tower high up can see alot more but the one lower should see everything around it in more detail, that's just my theory. Also the one high up seems safer and less scary. What i find interesting its like whoever the person is, is trying to sound afraid but it sounds desperate like the one speaking craves for something it would probably be nice in those towers as a job, assuming you dont have to worry about a mythical creature. Out in the wilderness at night is great as you can actually see a vast amount of stars beyond counting unlike being in a urban area surrounded by lights with about 10 visible stars on a good day
Most likely the higher tower is a sort of 'Backup/Emergency Tower'. It sees much more of the area, so it can see threats farther away, like Earthquakes knocking over mass number of trees, it can see forest fires more exactly, and coordinate rescue operations more easily. Meanwhile the player's lower tower is probably more for Game Wardens protecting from hunters and poachers for the local area, helping Hikers and Campers that get lost like seen in the game, and probably the initial first line of rescue while the backup tower calls in reinforcements and gets more help from outside. That is my guess.
Considering the thing made a tree fall, i'm guessing it can grow very big. Though when it gets to your tower and you see it at the door, it's just a little bit taller than a human, so i'm guessing it must have some shapeshifting stuff on top of the voice mimicry.
Thanks for all you do you seem like a cool dude! What an amazing positive comment! I hope you’ve been doing well these past couple months. Keep taking care of yourself friend. What a great community there is here!
To answer your question, yes. There are large national parks in which people man towers constantly. Not as many as there used to be, but still lol Also, in this game, you're actually leading 2 individuals. That's why when one checks in somewhere, the other seems to be at a totally different location. The calm, creepy, and irritable one is the copycat, while the panicked one is the human. The key to this game is deciphering vocal tones and communication.
Holy shit, you're playing that game?! I didn't recognize it by it's name, but 2 minutes into the gameplay I thought: I would really enjoy seeing insym playing that one goat man scarry game. And I realized it was that one, this is so cool
Such a cool concept when you can't move away from the tower and all communication is happening only through the radio, limiting you to the experience of hearing, instead of walking and seeing. The fact that this was made in 48h with several different endings, allowing player exploring this simple, yet interesting idea and different paths - is fascinating. This is probably one of the favorite short horror games of mine, cuz it's very unique with haunting visual style of the forest, and really great delivery of the voice lines. Thank you for playing it, it was really interesting to watch!
I was getting so mad at how you were playing but I had to remember you hadn’t played this before lol. There are 4 main endings and 2 variants of the bad endings. It’s either hiker dies and you live, you both die, you die and hiker lives, or you both live.
OHHHH MYYY GODDDD this is ONE of my favorite horror game!! I only fell in love with it because the player isn't running away/fighting the monster, its you who are helping other people with the monster.

Firewatch blew me away with its atmosphere, nice to hear you love that game as well. This is a nice little game, always cool to see what people come up with during these 48 hour marathons!
Spoiler and Explanation! It's a little sad that you didn't read the letters on the table. There they say that the goatman mimmiks the voice of other people, so you talk to the hiker AND sometimes to the goatman. You have to listen to how he talks. The hiker is a lot more stressed while the goatman is more relaxed. You sent the goatman to the empty tower that's why he sounded so angry and asked if you are pranking him and the hiker thanked you because you sent him to the right path, away from the goatman :D In short you sent the goatman throught the mines, where he asks you if that is a prank. After that you sent him to the empty tower. The hiker went to the lake and out of the forest. He dies if you send the goatman to the lake as well. That more scary voide is the goatman losing his cool and threatening you! The other ending you had was a little different. The goatman killed the hiker because you led him to the same way as him. After killing the hiker he asks you to "show him where you are". This is just the goatman wanting you to show him where you are. After turning on the lights he knows your position and runs to you! :D The game itself is really good and it was still funny to watch you play it :D Good job!
Whenever I’m unhappy and I watch your videos, you’re too entertaining that I forgot all my stresses for the rest of the day. Thank you keep up the amazing content!!!
I kinda find it hilarious that Insym doesn't realize that fire-watching is a real thing in America. Not sure about other countries but it's an interesting one here. It's usually how we know when there is a fire in a more remote location rather than waiting until it hits a nearby community or ranger station.
I thought it was so obvious from the beginning something was mimicking the hikers voice they sound completely different but I know alot about skin walkers and stuff so it’s frustrating to see how many people didn’t understand this game
@Nyala Johnson If you turn on the lights when the hiker reaches the tower, the hiker will survive, but you won't. In the newspaper it will say that a hiker was found in tower 2 and all he could say was "It had my voice", and that they don't know if it had anything to do with the break in at tower 4, or the dissapearence of the park ranger stationed there (you).
Yeah my grandmother used to be a Forest ranger and she told me that the stranger thing that happen was 2 children that went missing and the only thing that she found was the bag and a socker, some other guys said that they hear a cry noise but when they go closer to the sound, it stops. That was how I got super scared of camping.
Being in a huge forested part of the west coast of the usa, I think that these fire watches are intended not to like prevent fires, but give families nearby to evacuate in the case one happens... Not sure if they have people do this now, but at the time period of this game it seems pre satellite imaging sorta
Insym Please play PINEVIEW DRIVE, it has clowns, scarecrows and a ghostly girl, it ONE OF A KIND, i hily recommend to play it, plus, one or two UA-camrs EVER played it
Two games that I love deeply are Total Chaos: Director’s Cut and Darkwood. They’re both survival horror with a light focus on reluctantly fighting back against terrifying enemies and really great atmosphere.
"Sightings of a large bipedal animal have been dismissed as bear sightings" Could it be that the spot on the map where the bear is marked, is actually where the monster is at? It sounded like it was just the hiker being lost and scared until he got to around that spot on the map and then the creepy stuff started...
yes finally! I remember recommending this game a little while ago, so happy you're finally playing it :D also the mouse being wrong is an obs issue, the game is probably being captured in fullscreen (Game Capture) when its supposed to be captured in Windowed (Window Capture), or vice versa (I had this issue for Ultimate Custom Night) you can recognize this issue if you need to make the window bigger on OBS, making the mouse cursor tracking be off, because it only covers part of the screen and there is a weird mouse bug on the other parts of it. might also be how your capturing the window, in the "properties" part of the source you are recording the game with. sorry for long explanation, but hopefully this fixes the issue!
Imagine if there was also a version of this game where you are being the hiker. Randomly chosen end points (to avoid speedruns) and randomly chosen directions/endings by the tower

Hold up. At that distance, those 'eyes' have to be as big and as spread out as car headlights.
Ikr lol
Considering the thing made a tree fall, i'm guessing it can grow very big.
Though when it gets to your tower and you see it at the door, it's just a little bit taller than a human, so i'm guessing it must have some shapeshifting stuff on top of the voice mimicry.
@@_piranha could also be made so u can see it more easy
Recently found your channel, been absolutely loving your content mate ,. Keep up the good work!

Welcome! :D
@@Insym thank you :D
Holy cow this game was only made in two days?!??!??!? How does a game get made in two days and look this good and is also spatially accurate?
This game even without that "jumpscare" in the end is so scary, the idea, oh men.
Thanks for all you do you seem like a cool dude! Been going through a rough time recently and your vids help raise my spirits :) dont forget to take care of yourself too though man work is important but mental health and physical health come first! Not that I'm one to give advice but yeah. Do what makes you happy man love your content and energy!
Best wishes to you, hope your struggle will be over and you safe. Take care
What an amazing positive comment! I hope you’ve been doing well these past couple months. Keep taking care of yourself friend. What a great community there is here!
@@Insym there's a another game coming from the same developer of do you copy called The Leed's Murder
To answer your question, yes. There are large national parks in which people man towers constantly. Not as many as there used to be, but still lol
Also, in this game, you're actually leading 2 individuals. That's why when one checks in somewhere, the other seems to be at a totally different location. The calm, creepy, and irritable one is the copycat, while the panicked one is the human.
The key to this game is deciphering vocal tones and communication.
The goat man yea
I wont forget to bring one of these super-torches next time i go hiking
Holy shit, you're playing that game?! I didn't recognize it by it's name, but 2 minutes into the gameplay I thought: I would really enjoy seeing insym playing that one goat man scarry game. And I realized it was that one, this is so cool
YAAAY you’re playing this gane, i love watching gamplays of this
Such a cool concept when you can't move away from the tower and all communication is happening only through the radio, limiting you to the experience of hearing, instead of walking and seeing.
"are you...watching..the lake?"
*proceeds to stub toe*
*nonhuman screaming* - "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"
lmao, i just heard that in my head.
Do you ever um get the feeling somebody is watching you.
Insym: plays horror game
Chat: I must spoil the entire plot for no reason
It is so much more suspenseful when you're watching by yourself at 1:10am.
12:19 dude that scream is so freaking bone-shaking.
12:00 me giving customers the wrong directions when they ask me where something is at lmfao
27:08 WOW I can't believe that someone got the perfect ending by first play
It was second
Today I realised that the name of the game is “Do you Copy?” Which sounds like someone is asking the question do you copy people
*Eyes appear*
Me: we shall win this staring contest against the beast
Insym: do u see that to
*the eyes dissapear*
Me: we have won huzzah!
Really nice to see that some variety is starting to really show on your channel. Love the content and the attention you have to all the comments on tour vids
You sent the goatman to the empty tower that's why he sounded so angry and asked if you are pranking him and the hiker thanked you because you sent him to the right path, away from the goatman :D
In short you sent the goatman throught the mines, where he asks you if that is a prank.
The game itself is really good and it was still funny to watch you play it :D Good job!
Whenever I’m unhappy and I watch your videos, you’re too entertaining that I forgot all my stresses for the rest of the day. Thank you keep up the amazing content!!!
12:21 i thought the scream was coming from my backyard in real life, almost shit myself

"Take some beer drink the night away"
LOL
i remember watching nuzzgard and then i look at my recommended and i see you and subbed with no regrets. Still don’t have a single regret.
"Bob Johnson, can you give us a sign?" Dead xD
Brother: Boo!
Me: *casually yeets brother
I love going back through your old videos and seeing how the intro to them has changed
"Drink some beer, drink the night away" LMAOO me every night
I really like your intro, no nonsense talk and just jump straight into it. It makes me like the videos
when you look at the map you can place pins to track last known location.
dude this game is utterly terrifying, easily beating any other game ive ever played or even seen or heard of
I remember playing a copy of this game on Rec room in vr, it was actually very accurate to the real game
I kinda find it hilarious that Insym doesn't realize that fire-watching is a real thing in America. Not sure about other countries but it's an interesting one here. It's usually how we know when there is a fire in a more remote location rather than waiting until it hits a nearby community or ranger station.
I believe it happens in Canada as well since a good portion of the country is wilderness
29:57 “ghost hunting while on vacation” please tell me ur still going to do that??!
I thought it was so obvious from the beginning something was mimicking the hikers voice they sound completely different but I know alot about skin walkers and stuff so it’s frustrating to see how many people didn’t understand this game
Oh nooo he missed the ending where the hiker survived but you as the ranger died :(((((
Spoiler:
It was where the hiker went kinda insane and repeated "It has my voice "
@Nyala Johnson If you turn on the lights when the hiker reaches the tower, the hiker will survive, but you won't. In the newspaper it will say that a hiker was found in tower 2 and all he could say was "It had my voice", and that they don't know if it had anything to do with the break in at tower 4, or the dissapearence of the park ranger stationed there (you).
After watching many of your videos, i think you might be one of my favourite horror game youtuber
lol its 7AM and i havent slept so imma watch this since im early. much love tho Insym love your vids
can relate
This is da way
Get some sleep friend its very healthy
Where you from its currently 12:51 for me

Yeah my grandmother used to be a Forest ranger and she told me that the stranger thing that happen was 2 children that went missing and the only thing that she found was the bag and a socker, some other guys said that they hear a cry noise but when they go closer to the sound, it stops. That was how I got super scared of camping.
Thanks for pushing me to cancel my camping trip.
hahaha I stopped it at 32:15 to get some water and came back to that sassysym face
Insym had no idea he was dealing with a Skinwalker X'D
Great video! As always, keep up the good work!
this game legit got me scared when i played it ngl. I loved watchin you play it!
I've wanted this for a while and I am glad it's finally here. Good game. Good video.
Insym uploads makes my day
Just found out about this channel, and I just wanna say, I love your content.
Keep up the good work!
Welcome!
Being in a huge forested part of the west coast of the usa, I think that these fire watches are intended not to like prevent fires, but give families nearby to evacuate in the case one happens...
Not sure if they have people do this now, but at the time period of this game it seems pre satellite imaging sorta
That was really fun to watch, I'm almost sad that it's so short. I'd love to see more videos about games like this one :)
Another rising youtuber love your game content man, i just found your channel and i'm loving it already!
Welcome!
what's this, a birthday treat? perfect, let me grab some cake to watch some good spookies, yes, that's lovely
Happy birthday!
Insym
Please play PINEVIEW DRIVE, it has clowns, scarecrows and a ghostly girl, it ONE OF A KIND, i hily recommend to play it, plus, one or two UA-camrs EVER played it
Sounds scary 😟
I watched this live and know what is going to happen but i still get spooked when the stuff happens! 😅
Love the vids man!!
You can vacation in the woods behind my house. The bobcat screams will jump scare you for sure.
Two games that I love deeply are Total Chaos: Director’s Cut and Darkwood. They’re both survival horror with a light focus on reluctantly fighting back against terrifying enemies and really great atmosphere.
The feel of this is mixed with a visual novel and a fnaf based horror tbh.
man do you copy is already 3 years old
"Sightings of a large bipedal animal have been dismissed as bear sightings"
Could it be that the spot on the map where the bear is marked, is actually where the monster is at?
It sounded like it was just the hiker being lost and scared until he got to around that spot on the map and then the creepy stuff started...
Wow, you actually played the game that I reccomended (even though it's probobly a coincidence)... I hoped you like it!!! Much love!!!
yes finally! I remember recommending this game a little while ago, so happy you're finally playing it :D
also the mouse being wrong is an obs issue, the game is probably being captured in fullscreen (Game Capture) when its supposed to be captured in Windowed (Window Capture), or vice versa (I had this issue for Ultimate Custom Night) you can recognize this issue if you need to make the window bigger on OBS, making the mouse cursor tracking be off, because it only covers part of the screen and there is a weird mouse bug on the other parts of it. might also be how your capturing the window, in the "properties" part of the source you are recording the game with. sorry for long explanation, but hopefully this fixes the issue!
I'll try window captures next time. Although I had this issue with window capture as well (when playing scp containment breach)
Imagine if there was also a version of this game where you are being the hiker.
Randomly chosen end points (to avoid speedruns) and randomly chosen directions/endings by the tower
Amazing video, thanks for playing this game!
The monster is mimicking the guys voice. You can tell the real hiker by his distressed tone vs the calm creepy tone of the monster
I knew I had to watch this game again from a streamers perspective and its been like 2 years since I've seen this game
I was watching this while i was walking my dog and it was like 7:00 in the morning and still pitch black. Then that unhuman scream sent me back in.
I've seen this game before, but damn those [NONHUMAN SCREAMS] really spook me.
why is this man not at 1 million subs yet. his content is crazy good
Yeah, I think when you lead the hiker to the empty tower, and then you turn on the flood lights, it comes to you and kills you, but the hiker lives.
What a cool concept! Would love to see this fleshed out more, I think it has a lot of potential.
This was really such a creepy game. The second guys voice really spooked me lol
i think this is the first insym video I've watched, love the phasmo vids
I played this game a while back. That last ending that you got was one that I got first I think. Scared the absolute sh*t out of me.
The scariest jumscares are the ones where you need to search for it in the screan, no loud sounds just a hidden creature somewhere.
27:59 Him: (Having a rave)
Goatman & Hiker before he even realizes he's being followed: 👁️👄👁️???
Omg, he keeps looking away whenever the Beast starts talking to him... keep your eyes on the forest, man!
Hey Insym keep up the great work! I love the vids and the streams and because of you I started playing phasmophobia and im very happy cus its my favorite game now. And maybe try jumpking on stream with mediashare or something?
even though I'm not the guy who took the job, my only thought throughout all of the video was "Why did I take this job..?"
"Should I make it run?"
Me: Is dat siren head tapping in?
