Good job. I think the Acerbis plastic unit contours are far better than other aluminum units available. I would also add the Warp 9 case savers to complete the corner protection of the front area.
I have one of those Acerbis skid plates on my DR650 also. Very good product and super tough. I've banged it over rocks repeatedly in Colorado and it doesn't even phase it. I used to have an XR650R and it came with a factory skid plate, also plastic but much, much thinner. But even that one never cracked or had any issues.
I'm the guy with the try pod engine guards called U.S. inline guards . Got a slider and all . Soon as I drill a hole in the Acerbiss plastic pan ,add the Clark tank . I think I'LL be ready . thanks

Solid piece! Looks good with that color scheme too. Had a DR350 20 years ago. Picking up a new 650 in a few weeks myself. How's the plate holding up?
