Edit: I found this posted in the comments of a short. I don't remember which short it was. I conducted a Google search for the poem. The first, I think, result was Dr.Hurd.com. This website is where I copied the text.
No body seems to know who originally wrote this prose. It was quoted as being originally posted on Facebook back in 2021 I believe.
The words stewed my soul, and convicted my heart.
They will not take my grandchildren's America away from them. If they burn it down. I will build it back up.

So... do you just rehash the same old play lists over and over? Don't you have any new dark country music? Do people just not produce this type music anymore? These are great songs but something new would be nice once in awhile.

Honestly? This stuff is way hard to come by. I agree with you, but much of this has the Boomer Stoner feel to it, and I’m a Boomer. I really do wish there was more and not just the same stuff, but I’m grateful for what is offered.
