Now compare the variable hourly, 😆. One benefit with the 8X, no ETOPS and no engine out departure requirements. G650 and 8X are absolute globe trotting beasts.
The G650 is sexier.
Is there a back up for fly by wire ?
you mentioned a lottery & wait list for the G650 but didn't mention one for the G650ER so is it safe to assume that all buyers of the G650ER bought outright? meaning no lottery & wait list?

It is funny that someones pays 59 million for a 6 year old used G650 whereas he could get a much more modern G600 with almost the same range and same 3 zone cabin plus crew rest for only 56 million. And the G600 has a state of the art sidestick and touchscreen cockpit, whereas the G650 has an outdated yoke and burns much more fuel than the G600. So if you don't need the small extra range of 400 nm of the G650, the G600 is the way better purchase.
After hearing the sentence "now a lot of people are confused on the benefits of fly by wire..." I am more confused even though I wasn't confused to begin with. I dare you to diagram that sentence.
