Can I just say that the casting of Marsali is perfect because she honestly looks like she could be the daughter of the woman that plays Laoghaire. They look a lot alike.

Tabitha Poisal that was show only the real ring was the one Jamie gave her in the episode where he draws her a bath 🛁 with the interlaced thistles on it , the one she actually wears at the wedding is Jamie’s fathers ring with the Cobachon ruby in it check the book if you are in doubt both are available to buy from Hamilton and young a Scottish jewelers should you wish to have a replica .

Yep love Cesar domboy but for me it was a seamless transition between romann and Cesar in the role .people criticized Cesar for not having the same accent as wee fergus bit harsh but from reading fergus changes a lot once in the colonies that and he has no other French people around him to aid the keeping of an accent and he grew up with Jamie’s nieces and nephews at lallybroch so been in Scotland from the age of ten to thirty the only other French person around in Edinburgh is madame Jeanne the brothel madam a child or teenager isn’t exactly going to be spending a lot of time with her is he ? That and he develops what’s known as a patois this is when someone speaks in a mix of two or more different languages in their speech for fergus this is the French of his youth plus the Scots dialect he learns from Jamie and his family and also Marsali his wife his children do this as well . Not suds but I think gaidhlig might also be in the mix though Jamie will speak to fergus mostly in French or Scots dialect gaidhlig tends to be with family like roger Mackenzie his son in law and although we didn’t see it he does teach Brianna the language as well roger also teaches her this . I’ve been learning gaidhlig myself as well as the language of my ancestors this being gaeilge the Irish Gaelic language . I think that my favorite thing about Claire and Jamie is that they're best friends, along with being husband and wife. Their dynamic goes from having the cutest romantic scenes, to them judging people at a party just by look at each other and smirking, that's one hell of a "friends to lovers" dynamic if I've ever seen one. And one the other hand, there's Brianna and Roger who are basically the opposite of all the nice things about Jamie and Claire. I swear, when they start talking you can just sense it's going to turn into some bullshit argument, like, get over yourselves, Jesus fucking Christ.

honestly Brianna and Roger are the worst couple on the show
They sort of are. Spoiled, edgy. Every other relationship is stronger in the show. Even Ian came back with a better love story that could teach Roger a lesson about his own.
