Glad to see this video out! Thanks for throwing in other sticks too, helps people compare better. Really looking forward to that new Gravity though. I also agree with more brands needing extended frames. The Extreme Tour is my favorite out of that bunch as well. Great video, super underrated/undervalued channel IMO.

Thank you 🙏 I like to mix it up with different coaches, players and rackets. The Gravity will come out later on, HEAD got a little salty I leaked the it earlier 🙃 but they will drop in the near future. Next will be the Rad MP. Thanks again for your comment 👊

@@tennisviking Oh, I bet they were pretty salty about it haha As soon as you posted that first video I knew they would be getting on you about it coming out too early. As if people online aren’t already passing around photos of the sticks early or anything 😂 You would think early hype around their racquets would be a good thing. Anyway, I appreciate having different levels as well tennis wise. It is hard to find channels that have high level players reviewing equipment. My favorites in the Radical line are the Radical Ti OS and second is the Radical Ti mid. I play with the first generation Wilson RF97 after changing from my venerable prostaff 85s. I tested hundreds of rackets over the years and I've always leaned towards the prestige line from Head for my preference. My encounter playing with head rackets was probably 6 years ago and I didn't like the feel of the frame of the radical. It had a weird muted feel for my liking. I also thought that the extremes used to be the stiffest rackets in the lineup with an RA around 70

Great feedback. Thank you 👊 The new pro staff is arriving soon I heard. Looking forward to trying it. Yes the Radicals does have that muted feel. And yes the old Xtremes were stuff compared to the new Auxetic one. Of the older ones, I only liked the Xtreme Pro 315 gr That Ljubicic was repping back in the day, it was comfortable to hit with but tricky to maneuver in a match.

Funny you mention your desire for an extended length Head racquet, rumour has it that there's an extended Gravity MP coming out with the Auxetic refresh, possibly with a 98" head size. No word on how widely available it'll be, though, might have to import it.

I got two of these racquets and thought highly of it at first, but it quickly felt a bit heavy in the handle. I've tried many strings at different tensions in this racquet and nothing seems to work. The 2023 Radical was DEFINITELY a step down for me. The 2021 feels much better. More feel, more pop, more comfort, more spin, and overall just better. Meanwhile, I find both the 2021 Extreme MP and the 2022 Boom MP to be absolutely a joy to use!

Good morning, I have a question. Some say that stiffness determines whether one racket is more powerful than another, but others say that it is the power scale or psi that determines it. If you can clarify that for me, I would appreciate it, because it happens that the radical, for example, has 65 RA while the speed pro 2022 has 61 RA, which suggests that the radical is more powerful but when you look at the power scale, the radical has 200 and the speed pro 300 suggesting that the speedpro is more powerful. Thank you very much for answering .

Thanx for the review. I own a couple of 2021 MPs, and I really find them exceptional for my kind of game.
I was really curios about the 2023 version, but at this point it looks more a "restyling" than a real "new version".
Just out of curiosity: since you found them pretty "average" around the net, which are, in your opinion, the best rackets in that zone of the field?

The problem with the Radical range now, and for the last 2/3 generations, basically since they stopped endorsing it through Andy Murray, is they've been tailoring it more and more towards baseline/ power players, which has left those who play all court, or "creative" players trying to find an alternative, because they lack any feel, touch, control. It used to be up there with the Prestige range, just with better ease of use, but now... Please Head, just bring back the original Graphene Radical Pro, it was the perfect blend or power, control and feel + with the added benefits of being able to add cap grommets for a bit of extra stability, I'd pay decent money to find 2 brand new ones of those again!
