I swear most of the people who hate this movie haven't seen seen it. It's such a good time. The Flerkin/"Memories" scene had me and my brother dieing in the theatre. This has such a wonderful comic book energy too it. Sure it's not a masterpiece, but it's such sincere and earnest fun with honestly well handled and real leads.
Omg i LOVE THE MARVELS! It’s like a comic book coming to life! The camera work, colors and the action! Omf Brie ❤ she delivered the best Captain Marvel ever - obviously Carol now is for the first time ever - on her own skin! Such a development omg! Her invulnerable hero side and her vulnerable humanity. She started jaded and tired with all the pressure on her shoulders, alone.. and ends up loving being part of a team! We saw more layers to Carol’s personality. Awesome. Oh Kamala oh boy!!!!! She’s a delight! Monica so cool! Everything here is amazing. Their chemistry is out of this world! Goose and the Flerkittens! ❤ The flaws are normal, nothing we haven’t seen in the MCU before. Love it so much! So good to see my fave Captain Marvel back ❤
Glad you had fun with this! The tone is lighter for sure, but it really fit the comic book feel. The only criticism I have is the villian being one-dimensional but it wasn't a dealbreaker. I gasped in the theather at both cameos at the end!
I really regret not watching this on the theater just because I saw the reviews and all the hate and avoided it but it's a very good movie, silly, fun, good CGI, great action sequences, Brie, Teyonah and specially Iman Vellani are AMAZING.

I finally got around to watching _The Marvels_ (wanted to see it in the theaters but ended up blindsided by life), so now I get to watch the reactions. Loved this and loved your "fanboy" sort of love for Kamala (and the Khans). Great reaction! Also, I would so love to have a flerkin. Any of the little guys from that infestation in NY still needing a home, come on by!
I love The Marvels…it was a good fun loving movie. Literally became my comfort movie. I loved every character. Also love that Captain Marvel movies are the only movies we get to see Fury just be Nick not the tough Agent Fury. He really just gets to have fun in these movies. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for Kamala, Monica, and Carol.
This movie was so funny! I didn’t feel that the representation was forced (at least in the movies context). There were moments when I thought about it, but I think that it’s mostly because of how it isn’t standard to have all-women-fight scenes often. I love this movie!

I agree, I have been saying the same thing in different comments sections that THE MARVELS rivals Guardians of the Galaxy Volumes 2 and 3 ( not as good as Vol 1 btw) The action and fight scenes in THE MARVELS was better and the characters had just as good of chemistry as the characters in Guardians. The special effects were just as good if not better as well, In my opinion. I loved THE MARVELS personality and it was one of my favorite movies of 2023.

Well, the Young Avengers scene with Kate really was a mid-credit scene. They probably didn't want people to miss it, so they tacked it on at the end. But it's not really part of _The Marvels_ film. So there are two credit scenes; just one came before the credit roll this time.
As a huge fan of the Ms. Marvel Disney+ series it was so cool to see your reaction Two other things tho! This really was a movie about Spectrum becoming a hero so that was awesome Negotiations with the Skrulls for air, Aladna for water and Carol herself for the sun. A lot of the movie is about how communication could have solved the problems. This is told through the personal story and the bigger story which I didn't realize until I saw this
Monica Rambeau was my favorite character in this movie. I have followed her story in the movies ever since the first CAPTAIN MARVEL movie and all the way through WANDAVISION. I also read all of Monica Rambeau's comic book stories too. I loved that character and Teyohnah Parris nailed her portrayal in the movie perfectly.

I wish the movie was 15-20 minutes longer. The first 20 minutes of this movie just rush by through action scenes. Not much time is spent on the story. Dar-Benn is a classic villain that is doing the wrong thing for the right reasons. It would have been good to see more of how she lost herself in helping her people. The Kree are suffering because of Carol's actions. If we got more time with Dar-Benn we could have sympathized with her. Why isn't she just asking for help? You said it about the water planet. There was plenty of water for both, so why not just ask? We don't know why she is doing it by force and that could have been explained if the movie took time to take us through the story a bit slower.
I agree with you about off of that except one thing.... I dont need more Dar-benn in this movie, I think it would have dragged on if the movie was over 2 hours and we had more of that dry and very sad story. The version I saw never seemed to drag
Other than feeling that there should have been a bit more depth to the Dar Benn character, I enjoyed this movie. Hopefully this isn't the last time we see them as a trio.

@@AdamfromFWCI Some reactors say they get way more views for Agents of SHIELD than any of their other TV show reactions. Plus, the emotional roller coaster ride is so worth it. Most grown men find themselves crying or struggling to hold back tears.... And, you'll laugh out loud, clap, stand up and cheer, and cuss out the writers for making you sweat thru all the drama! I think the funky scheduling delays and time-slot issues with ABC and the MCU made a lot of viewers walk away. And many people stopped watching after the first few episodes of season 1 cause they did not understand what the show was going to be about. So, when it was not what they expected, they didn't give it a chance.... very closed-minded... Although Season 1 is considered the worst, it is still far better than 90% of season 1 for any other show... Also... to be honest, some people may struggle with shows that can be a little cerebral and/or require paying attention to keep up with the fast multi-layer story lines.... but kids love this show too... so "shoulder shrug"... Anyway... the fan started growing really fast later on near the end of the series and a ton of new viewers since it ended. It is a cult-classic that keeps growing. I was not at all interested in Marvel or comic book characters until I watched this show. Although I LOVE AOS, there were are a lot of references to people, places, and things, from the MCU that I did not understand. So, during my 3rd series rewatch, I finally watched all the moves and finally understood who/what for "Pym Particle", "Ultron", "hammer", "President Ellis", "the twins", "Maria Hill", "Lady Sif," "Stan Lee"... etc... And that's just from the first couple of seasons... Anyway... every season keeps getting better. I have never watched a show that does such an incredible job of looping in things from previous seasons that affect future seasons. The twist and turns are amazing. I strongly suggest starting from the pilot episode cause there will be an awful lot that you may have forgotten. One of the reactors I'm watching now saw the 1st 2 season many years ago. But, he started doing reactions with the pilot. He was amazed at how much he did not remember. So, he was genuinely surprised and entertained with each episode. He and another 2 people who are currently reacting to AOS are struggling to keep themselves from watching extra episodes each week cuz the show is just that damn good. Sorry for such a long reply. But this show has a die hard fan base and many, if not most, have rewatched the entire series multiple times. Be sure (if you don't recall what happened) to review the Marvel movies that take place before and during the show up to season 5. 🤔 Hope this was helpful.... Oh... if you decide to react to AOS, please consider announcing it during all your upcoming video posts to gauge the response.
