I could live there!!!
Lolol right ?! Just beautiful
Neat! I'd heard of High Bridge often, even drove back to the parking area, but never walked around. Will go back again and hike around. Thanks.
Just watched the last three of your iron furnace videos,.. Fascinating examples of early industry in Pennsylvania. Thank you.
Thank you for bringing us along to see this treasure. Love the history!
Beautiful creek , I wish you had zoomed in on the ice formations .
High Bridge is what I remember it being called. Spent many a day there as a youth.
I enjoy seeing these old furnaces and the features around them. Thank you for this adventure.
The furnace is great. She has worsened condition since the last time you filmed it. The river is beautiful, the sound is awesome. The brickwork was great too. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care
Another amazing PA Furnace! Thanks for taking us along!
The size of those are astounding.
It's so amazing that these are still around
I haven't been back there in years.
Hi Cliff, I remember when you made the first video of this furnace, it's an interesting site. It would be awesome if they could arrest the decay and wouldn't it be great if they could raise enough money to build a replica waterwheel, that would be a sight to see. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💞
Always enjoy watching your videos. Neat to see different areas in Pennsylvania. I am from North Eastern Pa , Columbia County Pa.
Great video love it’s
Yes there is information on the stoves!
Future archaeologist: these piles of stones were monuments to the great metal gods, and human sacrifices took place often, as the offerings were thrown into molten iron.
Reckon those workers went home with burn holes in their uniforms? My pawpaw had lots of burn holes from working on the Illinois Central railroad ??!?!
It seems like a lot of effort was put into the race, my thought is that it supplied the stove works and maybe more industries.
thank you!
I'm 1st. Love the videos man
Nice! RWB
So someone removed the dam at some point. It returned the creak to a more natural flow.
It most likely got washed out by a flood.
✨😎
How many of those actual homes are left around PA furnaces Cliff?
Not to many.
You don't mention anything about your camera gear. I know in the past, you had a desire to get another DSLR. Whatever you use now, focuses extremely fast. You make some of the better videos out there regarding quality. Regarding content also. I was just curious to know if you have evolved into the mirrorless market yet? FYI, I'm not a hater because I know exactly what you're referring to when you use that term. Kudos to you for the content that you offer. I look forward to each and every one.
I film with the Sony AX43.
