FPX have beat EDG multiple times this season what do you mean they fall short?? Definitely more of a rivalry than EDG always winning
Mainly meant edg beats them in the big moments. FPX beat them during stage 1 and in upper finals in playoffs but lost the grand final, as well as at kickoff. Plus before this year edg had their number pretty good. Either way it's a good rivalry but edg is definitely seen as the better team internationally

an underdog team has NO pressure to do much of anything other than play their game. people are already doubting them. so, all they will receive is praise when they do well, and a “meh, we knew this already” type of mindset/response when they don’t do too well.
