Hi everyone! I live in Slovenia which is a country on the right side of Italy. I was in Gardaland and on Blue Tornado, it's awsome, a really cool ride!
I've never been on a bad SLC these rides are awesome! They're so compact and intense, and it's not hard at all to lean your head into the G's so there's no headbanging at all.
I'm from England, I went there last week. Awesome place. It holds up against one of the Florida parks easily. I rode this a few times. I don't know about nearly swallowing your chewing gum mate (2:01), I nearly swallowed my tongue! Haha.
It would be a very good ride if They eliminate the headbanging. This is also because I had a surgery on my ears, Which means they’re sensitive. This ride Really hurt my ears and head, and also Made me quite dizzy. But if there was no headbanging this would be a good ride
everyone comments on this saying its exactly like some other ride, calm down there is one... vekoma has put out almost 50 boomerangs, they are not all exactly alike becuase they are different colors and scenerys, also vekoma has at least 40 of these in the the world, so yes they are almost exactly alike, they arent customs. jesus
Actually, no it isn't. El Condor and Vampire don't have a helix at the end. I think it was a slight modification of the design, but they didn't bother to change it on already standing coasters with the design.
Hope this coaster gets fitted out with new trains to eliminate headbanging. As I discovered with Arkham Asylum at Warner Bros Movieworld, SLC's are actually really fun, intense rides once you take away the pain.
I remember years back when this coaster was new, a kid (around 12 years old) had a heart attack and died after this ride :( (I'm from Italy, I live near this theme park)
@mds1978 SLC means Suspended Looping Coaster and is different from Batman. The only difference they have is that they're both below the track but they are both made by different companies.
What does SLC mean? And how is this different from rides that are similar in the usa (such as batman at six flags magic mountain)? What part of the video shows this helix that you mention? Thanks
nice attraction tested a few days ago ... it was all the time with my eyes closed ...... unfortunate that after I got out that I was short of breath for about half an hour ... nice I liked it. but .. I will not go back!
I went to Italy about a week ago I went to gardaland I went on the blue tornado and raptor and oblivion and the scariest was the blue tornado it hits your head like maf

il katun è venuto dopo il blue tornado e ovviamente ha potuto prendere spunto per migliorarsi, il blue tornado è stato il primo inverted coaster in italia

when you are watching the blue tornado is sooooo frickin scary....but when your on, not that much(well...i think...).. i wasnt on tho...wasnt brave enuf ;DD but i went on Raptor, and i was so scared.....and so on. ;D

This one looks very smooth!! The smoothest one ive ridden is the one at Wildwood NJ!!
The helix is actually the best part of the ride. It's intense and also quite smooth compared to the rest of the ride.
