Hi and thanks for the video. I have this guitar and am really interested in putting a pickup in it. What is the make and model of the pickup you used? Not sure what to use. Great job and thanks for your help.
Thank you Fred....🙏 I certainly appreciate the kind words I think it really sounds good plugged in....🎶❤️🎵. I hope you have a great day and a great week your friend Professor Jeff.......🎶🎸🎹🎻🎤🎓
@@endo-poptart I found most of the time when doing these conversions , You do not need to ground the strings , In a rare occasion you may get some Hum… 🤔 If you are feeling real sporty …., 👀 You can put a small hole on the end of the guitar to run a ground wire to the new metal tailpiece which will ground all the strings, but this is not really necessary in most cases….👍🏻😎
Nope…👍🏻 Those doggone resonator guitars are made of some thick wood , so they don’t have to do a lot of bracing in them….👍🏻 Have a good one, your friend Jeff …🎵👍🏻
@iplaymytele awesome! I have the same guitar and I'm going to toss in a pickup 🤙🏼 I think I'm going with a P90 with 250k pots and a .33 cap. Maybe a .47, i want it dark lol. What did you use?
Looks good ,wish you could of plugged her in and see how it sounded..
there is a Video of this guitar...!😃
Nice job. If that was mine I’d have the Nashville bridge pick up as well and an additional blender knob .
Sounds Like a Good Set Up...!😃
Wish you could do a soundtest after finishing...
I Dont have one...? OOps...🙄
Thomastik JS110 Strings are certainly a good finishing touch because they'll save the frets from scratches.

Would you mind sharing what pickup, plate and knobs you purchased? Also, from where you got them? Thanks
it really depends on the guitar... everything on this guitar, came from amazon...😄

The dog ear P90 is too large for the sound hole and will not fit in this Guitar…👀
I have tried …😹😹👍🏻
could you show a wiring diagram ?
It is wired like a 60's Tele...!
The harness is Pre wired...👍
