Big Rose stan since I first listened to this group, but this song hits different. In my opinion, all 4 of them put their voices to their best places, their best roles, in this one. Jisoo's high, thin tone perfectly fits her lines, especially when the voice clashes with the message in the lyric. That's perfect. Jennie dropping into that deep range, beautiful and rich (not always her range in the group). Rose just being Rose, classic Rose, perfectly in her emotional projection range. (As noted above, I stan Rose.) And then Lisa literally showing that she's not "just" main dancer, with a smooth strong tone holding the entire middle throughout the entire song. This group gets a lot of shade, but they are the biggest girl group ever. So haters are just being haters.

The song is about being stuck in a bad relationship and instead of leaving, she drinks and smokes to "go back" in her mind to the start of their relationship, when things were better. That's why she's "The Happiest Girl In The World", because she's numbed the pain.

But there's a Korean tradition called "rolling paper" which involves writing heartfelt messages at the end of an event/occasion and the messages are passed around to everyone involved. Even though Blackpink does tend to break with entertainment norms, generally, in Korean media, it's considered taboo to refer to drug use.
You were right on track about the rolling paper... The line before that referred to drinking alcohol, "all it takes is a smooth pop of a bottle-top to fix a heart"... They're basically talking about using whatever vices they can to numb the pain...

Jisoo has a deep and husky voice, kinda low. But she hit those high not perfectly. It's really hard to do this. I really like her voice, one of the unique voices in kpop industry.
Let's try to be more truthful than other answers you received so far on the 'ROLLING PAPER' LYRIC: Maybe ask the singer songrwriter Natalia Kills, one of the American writers of this song, or the other writers. BLACKPINK GENERALLY DON'T GET TO WRITE THEIR OWN SONGS (and contributions are usually kept in lower percentage when they ARE credited), this is probably partially because they got big very fast and one of the byproducts of that success is the YG label is just a wee bit controll8ng in the songwriting (also one of the most potentially lucrative aspects of the business, why share those profits too?). The company apparently don't trust them to write their own hits -- especially given the scarcity principle marketing of limited music content (by Kpop standards) means every song NEEDS to be potentially very successful. One downside to them being with YG, but they wouldn't have the crazy talented music videos staff and big buget elsewhere. Sure Thing cover I was kinda surprised back in 2017 they didn't have the 'you can be the lighter' line changed. Why the company decided to leave that line in is anyone's guess but maybe not the best choice given the Korean attitude towards said smoking and the potential legal repurcussions and career scandal for Korean musicians caught smoking a fat one. Ask members of YG boygroup BIGBANG or better yet former YG boygroup iKON (now at another label) former leader / award winning main songwriter / rapper B.I aka Hanbin who quit the group to protect their careers after his scandal about alleged use years previous of a harder substance. He's a solo artist elsewhere and other singers who work with him still get criticized for it. Korea seems to have Draconian attitudes about some minor things we find normal of American musicians. Does Jisoo know what the lyrics mean? Who knows, she's not English fluent. The other memvers may very well know, but that doesn't mean they've ever lit up one. Someone online tried to accuse Rosé of using based on something in a photo at a dinner party she attended posted online. A female vocalist for a previous girl group had problems for years for importing prescription meds for ADHD to Korea and the Korean public treating her like one of Heisenberg's customers. A misunderstanding damaged her career. So despite Jennie attending parties in Hollywood and their mingling wirh western celebrities and a few lame LA trust fund kids, I seriously hope they know to avoid potentially ruining their career by smoking anything as such. They have a ton of haters always waiting for them to make the slightest mistake showing they are humans. It's a minor scandal when someone sees potential evidence a Kpop idol might be smoking cigarettes, which has happened to some boygroup members not so long ago. Sadly, THE HAPPIEST GIRL never gets performed live (which makes my heart break a little bit less that I missed the Born Pink tour thanks to BP NOT being IN MY AREA and some medical & financial issues -- gonna miss PURPLE KISS 1st US tour in November since closest is a full day's drive from me.
I spent $800 back in 2019 between halfway decent ticket, some t-shirts & lightstick and flying to Newark NJ for an overnight vacation and saving hotel costs by staying awake at airport all night following concert). Next time tour if they have a shiw near you I recommend seeing them in concert.

Jisoo has a deep and husky voice, kinda low. But she hit those high not perfectly. It's really hard to do this. I really like her voice, one of the unique voices in kpop industry.

Maybe ask the singer songrwriter Natalia Kills, one of the American writers of this song, or the other writers. BLACKPINK GENERALLY DON'T GET TO WRITE THEIR OWN SONGS (and contributions are usually kept in lower percentage when they ARE credited), this is probably partially because they got big very fast and one of the byproducts of that success is the YG label is just a wee bit controll8ng in the songwriting (also one of the most potentially lucrative aspects of the business, why share those profits too?). The company apparently don't trust them to write their own hits -- especially given the scarcity principle marketing of limited music content (by Kpop standards) means every song NEEDS to be potentially very successful. One downside to them being with YG, but they wouldn't have the crazy talented music videos staff and big buget elsewhere. Sure Thing cover I was kinda surprised back in 2017 they didn't have the 'you can be the lighter' line changed.
Why the company decided to leave that line in is anyone's guess but maybe not the best choice given the Korean attitude towards said smoking and the potential legal repurcussions and career scandal for Korean musicians caught smoking a fat one. Ask members of YG boygroup BIGBANG or better yet former YG boygroup iKON (now at another label) former leader / award winning main songwriter / rapper B.I aka Hanbin who quit the group to protect their careers after his scandal about alleged use years previous of a harder substance. BLACKPINK ballad THE HAPPIEST GIRL and the PURPLE KISS b-side CURSOR 빈틈 (written by member Chaein, a FORMER YG TRAINEE and talented all-rounder, also she's my #2 favorite Kpop vocalist after BLACKPINK Rosé, followed by #3 Swan also of PURPLE KISS). PURPLE KISS song CURSOR doesn't have an mv but does have an official performance video 9n their channel with about 1 minute cut out of the song (obviously filmed same time as b-side OH MY GOSH shortened performance video but that song got a full length performance on TongTongCulture UA-cam channel).
