That's the thing. Negative hollow fills you with negative thoughts. And to use haki you must have will. So it's either the DF nullifies the Haki or the Haki nullifies the DF.
@@Despair331 Seems like how it'd work is that if you are prepared with Haki, you can resist the ghosts. But if one of the ghosts hits you by surprise, you'll be too depressed to use haki to nullify the effect, since it saps your willpower.

actually in an SBS oda stated that armament haki cant hit the ghosts. It only works on elements and not intangible living creatures.
