- Found an old clawfoot tub for sale and decided to take the opportunity to make a Redneck HotTub aka an outdoor wood fired bath! Through trial and error I figured out a cute set up to create a whole new way to Garden Bathe in hot or cold weather.

I recently found a cast iron tub off FB marketplace and I've finally fiished unloading and setting it up in my greenhouse. That tub was HEAVY!

Can't wait to see the finished garden bath. Nice work so far! That tub looked super heavy. Way to persist and get it up on the blocks. I'm going to do something similar at my mountain property as soon as possible. I have a shower house already built (which is already an amazing upgrade), but really want the hippie hot tub set up to just sit and soak while enjoying nature.
What a cool idea.
Just the tip for the next time you trying move something around. Try placing a couple of 2x4s underneath it as ramps. That tub looks great. That thing is going to come in handy on some hot summer days.
Another tip is I’ll be your boyfriend and help you with any project you want 😊

After spending a winter in Colorado I got spoiled with the hot springs there. I am in the process of setting up my own “hot springs” back on the east coast to experience the duality of cool air and hot water.
I built one a few years back. Being a gardener all my life, what could be better. Mine was close to the house, facing the sunset. I built a shade garden with the biggest plants I could find, and a small meandering trail to it. The best part was we put a faucet on the house, like the kind of hookup for the washer and dryer. Then I buiried the hot and cold hoses and hooked them up to the faucets.When you turn them on it's just like being inside, but waaay better. By far my most favorite project and it was just for me. Now moved to a new house, got another tub, getting ready to do it again.

How much did you pay for tub&delivery? Asking cause prices near me seem kind of high!
I got the tub via FB Marketplace and a local guy just happened to want to get rid of his and be willing to deliver - it was 150$ I believe.
