Believe it or not the First time I saw Ritchie Play was at a Carmel High School Dance, Totally blew me away. Then some years later out in the local clubs, he was playin Red House I’ll never forget that Black Custom Les Paul, Red Marshall head and it was piped into the Pa with an ecoplex. He was phenomenal. I later asked him for lessons and to my delight he agreed. I studied with many Guitarist after that and Ritchie still remains my favorite. He truly is The Emperor of Rock and Roll!
While more famous, Keith Richards and Slash don't have anything on Richie Scarlet. He's so talented and entertaining. I think I might even have a bit of a man crush on him. Oops, did I say that out loud?!?!
