This is Vanilla Minecraft plus Sodium and Iris. Sodium and Iris help Minecraft run more smoothly for me. I also use JermsyBoy's Better Foliage add on because I like the leaves. There are no other mods or add-ons in the version I use.

This is a great looking storage building! Yep, that’s pretty much the process. Keep trying, get stymied, walk away, and dream up the right answer. Lol I think the bottom of crafting benches are just oak planks….Now, your little lovelies are safe from the elements.
Sad that the bottom of the crafting bench is so dull Suzi. Oh well, the tops make up for it. And yes, I think the cats and dogs definitely appreciate being in the dry.

I really love watching and hearing your process of working out what you want to build and how you go about doing it. It's very enlightening! I also love the open feel the storage building with the half-slab walls and glass dome, very roomy and spacious!
It's a really lovely space Jenn. I especially love being in there when it rains, although I do have a cat stationed at every doorway - just in case

It looks really good and very different. I love it and I do the same thing for most of my building, no plan just an idea of sort of how I want it to look. And I do the same thing, put it away, and come back later.

Hehe...diorite is underrated. In answer to the question, the underside of a crafting table looks just like oak planks. I've often hidden tables in ceilings, Oh and the tops of blast furnaces make nice floor tiles too.
And the underside of smithing tables make a great ceiling - unexpectedly pretty Julie
