If you watch the behind-the-scenes they did actually sing it live but the audio does have postproduction done to it. This VOX #1, Chisa's VOX where she sings Tori Kelly's "Nobody Love" and Juria's VOX where she sings IU's "Dear Name" were all sung live but the recordings on the videos have postproduction added. Juria's live vocals were so touching that Chisa and Hinata cried while listening to her. I don't think any of the VOX's after that have been recorded live. Highly recommend the Grl Gvng dance practice. You can hear the entire song and the choreography is incredible! The choreo for this song incorporates ASL (American Sign Language) and the girls did an entire separate video where they sign the lyrics to the entire song.

Hi guys, I really like your reaction videos about XG. They are good quality, good vibe videos, and it's nice to see your reactions to the XG girls. These girls are the most amazing performers right now in my opinion. They have hundreds of videos up, it's worth watching later, when you're done with the more important music videos, to watch some of their behind-the-scenes videos, for example how that particular music video was made. Regarding the GRL GVNG video, it's worth knowing that it's a full-fledged song, only the music video in this one exceptional case, unfortunately I don't know the exact reason, it's shorter, but this MV was officially released for the song. However, there is a full version of the song, one for example is the dance practice video, which is extremely special in itself in terms of choreography, I don't really think you've seen similar choreography before, the other is the ASL (sign language) video in which the girls perform the entire GRL GVNG song in sign language, I don't think you've seen anything like this in your life either. The Vox series will not disappoint either, the girls are going through an incredible development, Chisa's voice is the most developed, Juria and Hinata also have amazing voices in VOX 6, you will see where the girls have come to, prepare yourself mentally for that video, because it will give you goosebumps from start to finish. I hope I was able to provide some useful information, I know it's long, but it's worth reading the slightly longer comments, because otherwise you won't be able to listen to the full GRL GVNG song, which is missing the rap part in the music video.

According to Simon, the producer, they only did the first verse as an MV because of the impact they wanted to convey, the second verse wouldn't have translated well to the imagery they were aiming for. As for Chisa's name pronunciation, I know her parents have pronounced her name with almost a hard "K", like K-isa, but generally, everyone does call her "Chee-sa" 🐺🐺🐺🐺

My theory of why they cut this MV is Harvey's voice was quite divisive at the time of launch, being so different. A large part of the song they cut out in the MV is Harvey's signature style and cadence. I think they've figured out by now that most of the world appreciates Harvey :)

I've seen them live 4x, and imo this VOX is live. On some of the BTS videos, other members watch each other perform these videos. Their live performance are incredible.

I like HITC'a 'Peaches' performance because it includes Hinata - her voice gives the song a more balanced/full/depth, IYKYK .
Peaches ... lead vocals were recorded live for the video. Those mics are on. They show it in the behind the scenes footage. Anytime the girls are holding mics, they are singing live. Otherwise, why hold the mics? 😂😂😂
