I love RnB Grande. It's her REAL flow, the way she wants to be. Her pop music isn't bad, but you could tell from even the Honeymoon album she wanted to be in more RnB. I think Dangerous Woman is probably one of her more underrated albums, because it was her transition into RnB, especially with "Leave me lonely" ft Macy Gray in it?! Iconic!

You can’t react to albums based off previous works. You have to account where she is in life and how she felt when making the songs. It helps you enjoy it so much more!!! @@jamaallittle4022 it’s a long story but back in 2014, Ariana and Big Sean were dating, they broke up in 2015 which is also the same year “The Hills” by The Weeknd released. The lyrics to that song were a bit telling because in that song The Weeknd is singing about a secret relationship that he had with someone while they were in a relationship with someone else. “Your man on the road he doing promo”- while dating Ariana, Big Sean was on the road a lot promoting his album “Dark Sky in Paradise”. “I’m just tryna get you out the friend zone”- Ari and him were friends bc this is around the same time “Love me Harder” came out. “Found out I was coming sent your friends home”- Ariana is always with he friends but this might be a stretch. In the actual music video, there’s a car crash...Ariana admits that her first car crash was when she was on the way to Big Sean’s house. At the time, Big Sean lived in the Hills (Beverly Hills) in California. The song was said to also be inspired by Abel’s fav horror movie- “The Hills Have Eyes”. Now as for “Off the Table”, Abel mentions “Love Me Harder” and “The Hills”, one song he has with Ariana and one rumored to be about Ariana. He could have mentioned any other song but he mentions the one he knows everyone talked about back in 2015 bc of its correlation. In “Off the Table” he mentions that he was toxic back then which can be seen in “The Hills” lyrics. He was doing drugs and wasn’t really ready for a steady relationship. Basically he just wanted to f girls and move along. He also mentions how he was then toxic to someone else...Bella Hadid. He began seeing Bella early 2015. Abel continues to say how now he’s ready to love her even though he’ll always be second. That has a double meaning. He was second to Big Sean and now he’ll be second again bc Ari’s first is Mac Miller and he’ll also be second to her actual bf...again.
