Exactly what I was looking for. Seems not many Mid level laptops have the same changeability as Acer. Their mid-tier laptops allow you to change all of the above and give you two m.2 slots.

@@CrocFIX I’ve managed to open the back of the laptop, but unfortunately not the screws for the SSD, any tips?
But wait, is that m.2 ssd that was replaced the one that one that boots the OS. Because then we need to clone that drive before we install. Then that is not an easy thing to do. Its prone to mishappens and you have to usually pay for that software in order to get the best results in successful cloning. Or is the OS install in another area on the main board?
The OS is on that m.2 drive. You get the software usually for free from the hard drive manufacturer and it's working fine. Anyway I always suggest backup your data on an external drive, and install a Fresh Copy on the new drive. Fresh is always more Fresh then a Clone ;)
How can i clone the windows to my new ssd?
With some clone Software

@@s1lent_gr You boot into windows. Connect the new SSD over USB adapter and clone it. Or you use a computer where you can directyl connect both drives.

Wanted to ask if any nvme ssd works. Where i live theres this nvme ssf called asgard gen 4. Does it work?
I personally would not buy any new and not well known manufacturer like Asgard. That's all I can say.

@@nickfranci4562 I have yet to try it on some AAA games but i have played gta5 on very high settings. it ran very smoothly at 60 fps unplugged on battery saver mode tho don't expect it to run all too well if you don't plan on upgrading the ram, 8gbs of ram can get you by if you're just playing but if you have like a browser open or if you're in a call while playing then its gonna run pretty poorly, fortunately its really easy to upgrade the ram so i would recommend it
@@nickfranci4562 Yes the majority of games will run very well as long as you have 16gb or more of ram and the game doesn't require 8gb of GPU ram for some reason.
i have the same laptop but it has ddr-2 for some reason so I cant add ram

@@g35.06 This is an very new model and it has DDR4 modules. This what you see "DDR-2" just means it's the second memory slot :)
Yeah im planning to get a victus 16-s1023dx, while it has a good ryzen and a rtx 4070, only 512gb of storage. It likely only has 1 drive, but how do I replace the drive without bricking the laptop?
I will buy a 2tb ssd for it, but I gotta know how to not brick it
Just follow the video, replace the ssd and you will need to install windows and apps. That's it. Good luck
