Piranesi The last unicorn Amari and the night brothers The butcher of the forest The thief Raybearer Nettle and bone Senlin ascends Emili wilde's encyclopedia of faeries Hey, love your videos, thanks for the recs!
I audibly gasped when you mentioned Senlin Ascends! This book, in my opinion, needs more attention. It's such a wild, weird ride all the way to the top of the tower. Senlin's character development from zero to hero throughout this series is so well written. I read this series a while back and I still think about many of the characters. Thank you for giving this amazing story some love. ❤
I love The Last Unicorn. The movie is incredibly beautiful too. When I was little, I used to watch it every Christmas. I don't know why they put it on then, but every Christmas, on a German TV station. As you liked the book, you should also see the movie.
I read Piranesi for a choose-any-book book report, after it was recommended on a blog somewhere. And of course I judge books by their covers, so I decided to read it. It was a good decision and it got me back into reading!
I picked up 'Piranesi" based on the fact that Emily St. John Mandel said in an interview that its one of her favourite books of all time. Your stamp of approval makes me want to read it RIGHT NOW.
I recently ready Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder and loved it! The character development, slowburn romance, and plot were so well done and I stayed up until 2am reading it! It's also a great shorter fantasy book.
The Wizard of Oz is only 140 pages and it's interesting enough to read even if you've seen the movie a lot. Oz is such a cosy fantasy world and there is 40 books in the series!
I hadn't thought about it until watching this video, but fantasy really does have a tendency to run long. Most of the fantasy on my shelves are either long or part of long series. 😅 These sound like some great recommendations!
Could you pretty please start putting lists of the books in the description? It drives me crazy when booktubers don't include them because by the end of the video I've forgotten the titles to search for.

Definitely will have to check these out. The books of the Narnia series are also very fun short reads!
The last unicorn!!! So happy to see this recommended. I just read this and the related novellas this year and they have quickly become a favorite
Omg I was JUST coming to your page to look for a standalone fantasy video because I can’t commit to anything longer😭 and you post this!!! 💛✨
I was obsessed with the Last Unicorn movie when I was a kid. I would recommend watching it at least once. ❤
On your recommendation, I started the butcher of the forest and I flew through it. It became a pleasurable experience, thank you!
I loved Nettle and Bone, really liked Piranesi, and I had never heard of The thief or Senlin. Adding them to my list, thanks for the recommendations!
This video is coming at the perfect time for me.💕

Okay, you got me at Piranesi. I will trust all your recommendations.

Watching for some ideas for the Amazing Readathon. Go team fantasy!

All of Discworld! Also, Sanderson's novellas - Emperor's Soul, Tress of the Emerald Sea etc, super short and compact
I recently ready Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder and loved it! The character development, slowburn romance, and plot were so well done and I stayed up until 2am reading it! It's also a great shorter fantasy book.
Nettle and Bone is such a fun fantasy book, it was my first T Kingfisher book and remains my favourite
i just finished the butcher of the forest today (at your recommendation) so this couldn’t of came at a better time! :)
I loved Nettle & Bone. Added Raybearer to my TBR. Thanks!
omg your hair colour is perfect!!

I have been loving shorter fantasy books! T Kingfisher is the queen of the short fantasy. I recently also loved Untethered Sky by Fonda Lee

I grew up watching The Last Unicorn! I had no idea it was based on a book!
I’m planning to read Piranesi this month and can’t wait!! Great recommendations here 😀
saw „short“ and „fantasy“ and dropped everything I was doing lol :D
Everyone keeps telling me to read Piranesi but your review has officially sold me on it lol
I'd recommend Princess Floralinda and the Forty Flight Tower by Tamsyn Muir!
Could you pretty please start putting lists of the books in the description? It drives me crazy when booktubers don't include them because by the end of the video I've forgotten the titles to search for.
i saw the last unicorn at bookpeople and was so close to getting it!
I’ve had Amari on my TBR forever 👀
Raybearer is so underrated!
I just picked up The Last Unicorn, having never read it, after reading I'm Afraid You've Got Dragons. Interested to know if it lives up to the hype
You should try Baye Hartshornes short paranormal romance Ghosted The Treason House Trilogy Book 1. Great romance
Excellent video
Your hair is getting so long!!! It’s gorgeous!! ❤
The Thief is only the first book. Books 2 and 3 are the best.
Good afternoon my dear friend
