I’m pretty sure it’s $5 for a pack of 20 cigarettes but you only need to give the guy at your shelter 1 per mission. So it’s not as ridiculously expensive as you think :P

The big U on the wall is actually old hobo code, derrived from the 1920's during the great depression. Symbols were used as code to let others know about jobs, food, shelter, exc.
What interesting tidbit of information thank you !
I learned about some of those symbols in tenth grade! The only one I really remember though was the zig zag one that meant "aggressive dog here"
Hobo signs are a actual thing. The symbols really look like the one in this game and they do mean thing like " okay to camp at night" or " town not nice to homeless" you can look them up online there is a list of them
I was really really excited for this game. Hope they use all its potential!!! Bit of "Tough Life" and a tea spoon of "Postal 2"....
As someone who has been homeless a lot in my life, I can tell you, this is exactly how it is.

Drae not noticing that you get 20 cigarettes for $5, and for 1 cigarette you get $2.5 using the other bums, meaning you spend $5 for 20 cigs, and can make $50 back, typical Drae 😂😂

Though with the money option, you gotta factor in the time to collect. It won't be a quick profit, depending how long missions take.
