Winters grasp is a great spell. It will occasionally freeze the target solid, and when it does they can be “shattered”. Allistairs shield bash can do it but you can also do it yourself with spells, I know crushing prison can do it (which is another good cc spell) and I think there’s a spell in the earth path that can do it as well. I think it’s boulder fist or something like that.
Hi Fififemke! I must replay this someday! There is a lot that happens in this chapter, but I too made sure recruiting a doggo was prioritised. (In fact the only mod I ever installed for Dragon Age was one that let you have a doggo in addition to your other party members.) You will also soon meet The Morrigan, who is played by one of my favourite actors, Claudia Black! I think you're going to enjoy this! Have fun!
I had a feeling lots was going to happen next, which is why I figured I should end this episode where I did. Very very curious to see what happens next!
A levelling up tip, passive abilities are always good because they enhance the other abilities in the same skill area, or they just make you better overall. Yes you can get a dog.
I would keep some armor. Like a couple sets of boots, gloves, and armor. Also buy backpacks whenever you see them. They increase your inventory size. Those crystals are good to keep. You’ll use them later. 🙂
I know they're completely different worlds, and great games in their own right, but this episode is giving me some serious Skyrim vibes. Some of the armour from the first guy you met looked like it was "straight outta Whiterun" and the fetch-quest from the guy with the sick dog... mora tapinella? I guess when you have two very big, story-based games, there will always be overlaps. Have fun.
Good point! I think lots of newer good games are based on some successful classics, so overlap like this will definitely be a common occurrence on my channel where we play lots of story-heavy games.
The funny armor skin glitch made everything seem like they were children dressed up and in a play. Suddenly all their problems became worth nothing to me because of the comedy of it. 😂
I see you have not installed the patch from the nexus that fixes a huge amount of bugs, I HIGHLY advise you to install it since it helps with preventing crashes and it is basically required since Denerim is crash-city-galore the man that mistook you for a servant sells bag space, but it's bugged in a good way, if you buy it BEFORE you finish the darkspawnblood quest, it restock and appears again when you return, meaning you can buy it twice 27:35 see, this is one of many instances where someone doesn't give in to your ''demands''. when you get lvl up, you can sometimes choose skills, it is advised to focus on Coercion fist since this one opens more dialouge options for you to explore and people will choose to believe you. this comment will be updatted as I watch the video
Thank you so much for all of your tips! I thought I had the mod installed to fix all these bugs, but clearly I installed it wrong. 😂 I know which one to get now tho, so it should be fixed in the coming episodes! FYI: your pf pic (of the crazy bunny) was my go-to pic for many things for many years in the past LOL
Things a about to kick off, better get ready for some hard fighting and for god's sake save before and after every battle LOL There's a bugfix patch on the Nexus. I PM'd you a link 😊 You should buy that backpack, they increase inventory space and are pretty rare. You should buy every one that you find. Add the line (Self HP less than 50%) then (Drink healing potion) to the behavior of every character including yourself. Set yourself to defensive / ranged so you don't run into battles. Set Allistaire to aggressive so he does run in. I would probably make him one like (Enemy attacking Femke) then (protect her squishy butt) too 🤣You're a programmer, you'll figure it out 😉
@@fififemke There's a behavior script extender mod that adds a ton more variables to the game. You can totally automate your companions so that they do AOEs on large groups of enemies and target the strongest ones first. You can also make them auto heal and raise dead on the party. Another good one is having the tank auto taunt enemies that are attacking the casters.
Your warcraft player is showing with your CC spell prep You ever seen Ren & Stimpy? Your voice variations remind me of how Ren Hoëk speaks, the expressive voice changes when he gets emotional. ua-cam.com/video/oCa7tKiCMN4/v-deo.htmlsi=UHKnLxO3MVasjyJu better examples probably exist in the show but it will have to do... but dang, cant believe I used to watch that growing up 👀 it's pretty dark 🌑
Loooool YES I love Ren & Stimpy! It used to only be in TV at night, so my brother and I used to watch it together on the weekends. It’s so messed up, it’s the best. 😂👌🏻
You’re going to need to download an unofficial patch to deal with those bugs. You’ll also need it to stop random crashes. It’s called the 4GB patch.
Thank you for telling me! I thought I had a mod that would fix it, but clearly it didn’t. Chances are big I installed it wrong tho. 😂

This is still the best DA.

Good point actually regarding the armor- good to have for squad mates! Thanks for your tips. 🤗

classic game.

It changed everything! 😂 Couldn’t take anyone serious anymore LOL

Do you have any mods installed? The only time I've had those texture glitches on armours etc is when I've used mods that conflict with other mods.
I have a mod for the UI size, and a mod I installed wrong to prevent glitches like that. 😂
@@fififemke We've all been there! 😁
not sure what I think of the DLC though. I played it yeah, the story is just a bit weird.
Oh is it? 😲 I never saw, heard about, or knew about DAO before this playthrough, so I really don’t have anything to compare it with. 🤔
