Seeking His Face

I am learning to seek the Lord's face in times of adversity. Lately, we've been experiencing a lot of setbacks. Some days it feels like it's too much adversity. But always before giving up, I'm reminded that I should sit down and spend time with God. I listen to uplifting Bible verses, I read Scripture or I listen to an uplifting song. Sometimes I just sit and pray or wait on the Lord.
No matter what I'm doing to seek His face, the fact that I actively do so, makes a huge difference. Minutes before I sit down, I feel hopeless, anxious, desperate. But soon after I fix my eyes on Yeshua, the heaviness and darkness begin to lift.
I want to emphasize how powerful it is to seek His face. I've discovered I can overcome any adversity as long as I keep my eyes fixed on Him.
