- In this video we get to see a very weird man randomly appear at the horse guard… He immediately starts acting funny and makes weird gestures to the horse, as if he wants to agitate the horse on purpose. Part 1. Enjoy!

I saw him in a video earlier, but unfortunately, the police didn't see him bothering the horses until he went into the courtyard and started yacking at the guards and rambling on about flashes that people were using when taking pics bothering the guards. The police did talk to him then and he left, so hopefully he won't be back. he's a real nuisance!
I'm afraid that, at the end of the day, London LEOs have no real authority and no real powers to defend practically ANYTHING that goes on over there. But it is really sweet to see all those London Bobbies prancing and twerking in the streets in celebration of PRIDE month/Summer/year/decade ... whatever.

3:13 Why are three armed police persons standing around in a group talking with each other while soldiers are telling people to "Stand back please." Shouldn't they be staying alert for suspicious people and/or baggage? How can they see at that distance anyway if anyone is behaving suspiciously? Security is slack here imo. The police are not there to prevent tourists from bothering the guards, they are there to prevent acts of terrorism, controlling the morons is just an added nuisance to them doing their job!

Im not making excusess for this getleman as i maybe wrong. But have seen this kind of behaviour before as Autistic movements. If this the case then its sad but still a worry for the guards and horses. I am loathe to say this, but the usual guards are back and it shows! Not wishing to be mean but the mainly female temporary guards have not held the same bearing, in my humble opinion.
I may be prejudiced as my late Grenadier father did not believe women had the strength to be in the Army, police force etc.!(!how times have changed.) 😅I am also a woman!
These police officers should be more concerned with the public and be ensure the guards are safe they just seem to just to talk together and do nothing! its not right , they appear to be lazy

Truth be known, these policemen has many rules to follow. I don’t see them lazy at all. When dealing with the public you have to be very careful how you handle them.
What you do not realize is that the police officers are very much on top of everything. If you look again and pay attention to the officers you will see that they are not paying attention to each other, each one is facing a different direction and watching what is going on. If they need to take action they are in the perfect spot! They can get out the front or back, head to either side quickly and efficiently. They can also get help if required.
They are the elite police. What is needed is a ‘jobs worth’ or several, for crowd control during the busy season.

More people are traveling to Europe and other countries…since before Covid in 2019….proof is right here at horse guards ..they are overwhelmed with tourists ….most don’t care or simply lack manners, etiquette or rules. All the countries love the money from tourism.. it’s a conundrum…

@Patricia-om3vo in America., sometimes citizens can go on ride alongside with on duty officers..I was able to do that, and found it quite enlightening how hard and dangerous their jobs really are...after that, I appreciate all they sacrifice for the public...if it is a program available to you, I highly recommend you avail yourself of it..
