This grenade launcher build will suprise you! in my opinion one of the best builds currently in helldivers 2 and it makes Helldive runs super fun!

bro the stalkers were two tapping me wearing heavy armor . they are broken right now. its rough without the shield backpack. the grenades need to prime thats why they bounce at close range. its consistent. im not sure what distance away you need to be exactly.

ya its the bouncing at 7 meters or closer if u directly hit it
Pummeler still stun locks Stalkers and Chargers.
Heavy armor only have 10% head reduction so if you get hit by 2 in 1 combo in head you are dead even if you wear extra pading you are probably dead
when everything fails, grenade launcher is the only weapon that will not abandon you
yeeeeeeah boy GL squad represent! I feel like its one of the more versitle options, even before the patch. I main GL, and I havent even noticed a difference post patch, so I think its been viable for a long time now.
The granades have a minimum travel range to detonate, that is why when you shoot too close they are bouncing.
I know but its annoying :D:D I keep shoting it sometimes I cant get used to it lol
The grenades have an arming time just like irl 40mm grenades, which is why it ricochets when too close
yup true, I believe its around 8 meters but I just find it so annoying :D:D:D

Funny how sometimes you forget it don’t explode on impact all the time now and again you’ll forget and shoot a hive guard and then it bounces of and kills you

On hive Guards. Bounce the grenades off the ground in front of them and aim for a shoulder

The supply pack is basically a must for the grenade launcher. Otherwise you're gonna spend the majority of the game running around with no ammo for it.

Wasn't the best before. But it is now.
i've been using it for weeks. you need to be surgical with it but it pays off

That's how a lot of real grenade launchers work to prevent a grenade from going off too close to the person firing, although in the real world the arm distance is typically longer. Rest assured super earth is putting you in as much danger as they reasonably can without it being obvious self sabotage.
Can still use it in close. Just gotta fire at the ground first.
They need an alternative fire mode that lets you switch off minimum priming distance.

I love the nade launcher. I've been almost maining it. I do feel like it is a little inconsistant with charger/behemoth butts. Sometimes 3-4 shots. Sometimes 2 belts and it still doesn't die.
I think there's a known issue where charger butts don't take explosive damage, so you need to hit them directly. Once they fix that, it should be much more consistent
It's kinda sad that 3 minute single target stratagems don't 1 shot heavy enemies like Bile or Charger...Pretty dumb.
Ajudicator shines with GL Supply Pack. Dont have to mag dump a breaker on mediums.

I really like taking GL with the arc blitzer, kuz you can hold them at bay with the blitzer, and fire grenades in between blitzer shots at the heavier enemies. it also 2 taps charger tails, 3 taps behemoth tails, and single taps any spewer(and can kill multiple at once), which makes it one of the most consistent versitile options for bugs, imo.
I also like to take orb railcannon and 110rocket pods, and both will 1shot a charger and break a titans armor to be finished off with the GL.
Only weakness in the build is vs shriekers, but theyre a minor annoyance
How te hell can you play this game on such low quality settings, it looks awfull, bleh. Like completely different game...

I'd also advise to change the armor to something else, like scout. Because you have supply backpack you're not so dependent on stims. Also i use blitzer in pair since it's the best in close combat, grenade launcher covers everything that's outside immediately close proximity.
In terms of stratagems, i use 500kg + orbital precision. It allows me to deal with chargers and titans (the only thing left to deal with). Grenade launcher is amazing against chav

I've been maining the Grenade Launcher once I unlocked it since I started playing early on. Absolutely wrecks Termids and Automations. I am everyone's guardian angel saving their asses from hordes
I play this game on average 3hours per day. Why doesn't someone do a video on all the bugs that are still in the game? New and Old. I've crashed at least 5 times today.; Would be nice if we emphasize that there are way too many crashes for a game that has been out for what? 6 months?
Eruptor + Stalwart + Rover w/ new armor passive
Eruptor handles chargers, bug holes
Stalwart + rover for small fries
User choice for other 2 strategies for titans
Another tip, for hard-armor bugs, shoot for their feet and surroundings to detonate if close. This dude doesn't understand how GLs work lol

It takes about 1/4 second to arm the grenade when fired from the noob tube. If it ricochets off enemy, they were too close//not enough time to arm. At 07:30 it ricocheted off the Brood Commander and exploded nearby. You were in the blast radius.

Why the 6 stims? you are running a ammo backpack. if you are using the grenade launcher you will be getting ammo packs quite often. At least more often than you need stims.
Maybe to use the stim booster more often. It is a nice feature
Is it possible to kill a Bile Titan with just the grenade launcher? Shooting the sacks out does damage but where do I shoot the bile titan after that to deal any damage? It's not clear it is doing anything.
I think its possible but ull have to use like 10 mags :D

Ah, this was essentially my go to load out for a long while. Still is on bugs tbh.
Though, I’m more privy using the light explosive resistance armor or throwing/limb hp armor since the backpack kinda makes extra stims moot. I also really like using the basic orbital precision in tandem with the stun bombs, but that one negative effect that reduces orbital accuracy makes it near worthless. So, I opt for rail gun.
Looks like there’s much less heavies meaning you don’t need to take a secondary dedicated to just taking them down. Orbital + rocket pods is a great combination that’s sufficient to free up your secondary slot for a grenade launcher or flamethrower to clear the horde. I use the same build but use the tenderizer (i like assault rifles).
This is pretty much the build I've been rocking on Terminids for the past week+, though, in an effort not to use the Breaker-Incendiary (I was fearing a nerf) I rock the Adjudicator for its medium penetration and rapid fire that allows it to face everything in a horde, and Incendiary-Impact grenades to assist with hordes' chaff. Additionally, I do not like the Orbital Rail Cannon and instead use Precision Strike, or bring EAT-17s on maps with reduced accuracy. Bushwacker is great technology versus Stalkers for its stagger, and Eagle 110s crack armor for the Grenade Launcher to finish off. Versus Automatons, I take the Grenade Pistol to deal with Scout Striders, and swap the grenades to Stuns. One of the best builds in the game imo.
I run the nade launcher with the supply backpack, the pulveriser as my primary, orbital gatling and the autocannon sentry. I just find that for heavies having the AC sentry will give you some decent breathing room. I regularly get about 300 kills per game on the Terminids
I was playing my nephew low level build. Level 6. I use precison, gattling barrage, grenade launcher and Eat or antitank rocket. He was memerized by it. Primary as regular breaker and machine pistol.

Bilespewer mission on helldive and I was the only one who brought a grenade launcher, carried that whole mission! It’s so good against bugs

For you helldivers who want more defense for terminids you should use the default armor now why you mite ask because it has the same armor rating as battle and the marksman

Been having the supply pack be the staple of my builds for a while now, and the grenade launcher is necessary for mass spewer clearing for me. I highly recommend the supply if you want a backpack

@@Crazymrpipz It's a safety feature which ties to the real life grenade launcher where it's set to prevent injury to the operator. However instead of becoming a dud the round just explodes later in Helldiver 2's case.
Will the Rocket Pods 1 shot regular chargers?
I don't think so but basically all their armor is stripped off so you can gun it down with normal weapons.
Rarely will one 110 kill a charger (it has to headshot), but it will almost always start bleeding out. Two 110s is pretty much guaranteed to kill a charger, even bile titans, or at least crack the armor for you to finish off with other weapons.

I run the same setup, I switch between the concussive AR or the Blizter if I’m not using a supply pack. Needs level 10+ to feel overwhelmed.
