Capas National Shrine (World War ll Death March)

The Capas National Shrine (Pambansang Dambana ng Capas) is located in Barangay Aranguren, Capas, Tarlac, Philippines.
The shrine is located where the Bataan death march of American and Philippine soldiers ended at Corregidor, where they surrendered during World War II. After that horrific event, the survivors were crammed into steaming boxcars or railroad carts with steel roofs, which resulted in even more deaths as they were transported to their last POW camp.
