Communities for Dark Skies

📣The theme for Heritage Week 2024 was
"CONNECTIONS, ROUTES AND NETWORKS".
In celebration and in partnership with The Heritage Council of Ireland, Dark Sky Ireland hosted an ONLINE workshop connecting Ireland's network of Dark Sky Advocates.
The recording for "COMMUNITIES FOR DARK SKIES" took place online on Tuesday, Aug 20th 2024, at 7pm.
During this recorded workshop, you will hear from Dark Sky Ireland Chairman, Professor Brian Espey, Michael Rymer of Dark Sky International, in addition to presentations from Ireland's three Accredited Dark Sky Areas, how they were formed and the benefits that they have brought to their respective communities - Mayo Dark Sky Park, Kerry International Dark Sky Reserve and OM Dark Sky Park & Observatory.
