Such a good video! I'm glad you love the Milk moisturizer cause I do too. It's the first high end one I've tried in a while that I love and agree is worth the hype. It's kinda expensive but you don't need much so that makes me feel better haha.
I’d be interested in trying the milk moisturizer. My HG night cream for many many years is Paula’s Choice replenishing moisturizer for very dry skin (the dark red tube). Every time I’ve strayed I come right back. I think it’s just as good if not better than high end.
I really want to try the Milk moisturizer, I guess they call it milk cos it looks milky? But it’s rich so I’m like ??? It’s just full of oils not milks. Anyways 🙈 , I’m oily but dehydrated so I have hopes for it. I also did not like the Glow Recipe mask, love the smell but I could also smell the alcohol in it (even though it’s at the end of the ingredients list) and I’m pretty sure it gave me small cystic breakouts. It pilled up on me over night too! I loved this video, it was different and I love reviews and rankings always 🙌🏻
Yeah I wouldn’t describe the milk moisturizer as “milky” at all so it’s a bit misleading. Glad to hear I’m not the only one who didn’t like the glow recipe because I always hear people raving about it. And thank you! 😊
It's called Milk moisturizer because it contains different vegan milk. I know it contains of fig milk, argan milk, and oat milk. I think it's another milk in it as well but I can't remember :D

The Milk Moisturizer is really good. So luxurious. That and the Drunk Elephant Lala Moisturizer are my favorites. I do like the Glow Recipe Watermelon mask but I use it as a wash off mask rather than overnight. I just leave it for 10 minutes 2x a week then wash off and apply my moisturizer. I have dry skin too so I think it would be too strong as an overnight for me.
I have only tried the Glo recipe mask, and the Tatcha water and dewy skin creams. I will have to check out the Milk one as you’ve ranked it higher than my two favorite creams!
I really like when skincare and foundations do not have fragrance and sensitizing ingredients. Sure, fragrances can "possibly" be ok, short term. Over time they "can" become a issue. Trending ingredients, such as pineapple as a exfoliator, can become an issue. Its very difficult to find affordable skincare, that works well and has great ingredients, without ordering online.
I thought that Glow Recipe sleeping mask was more of a resurfacing type treatment mask. Like, the glow part comes in from removing dead skin and improving texture. I could totally be mistaken Loved hearing your reviews! I've been super into trying more skincare recently 😊

I literally subscribed to you because you have dry skin. I appreciate you doing this so much. I have and love the Saturday skin, tetchy dewy and milk cream. I also have the glow recipe but I use it in the summer as a overnight gel cream. Gel moisturizers dont work for my dry skin except in summer during the day before makeup. Other than that I avoid gel moisturizers and use them in the summer if I I get one in boxy charm. I really wanted to try the tatcha water cream but I already know it wont work for my super dry dehydrated skin type. I layer on oils and heavy creams at night and love looking like a oil slick or at least that's what I am going for. I wish gel moisturizer worked for me I really do but they just don't for dry skin. I always hope to find one that works one day but that is wishful thinking. Side note please find a drug store dupe for the milk and tatcha dewy plzzz. I would love you forever.

Normally my drug store go to's are Neutrogena Hydro Boost and an Olay whipped. I've been curious about the Tatcha crrams for a while but had never heard of the Milk one.

The Glow Recipe mask pills on me too, but you are supposed to wash it off in the morning. I dont think Glow Recipe's products are as fragrant as everyone else claims they are. Especially the pineapple vitamin c serum, I love that stuff lol. I think they smell good & the scent goes away pretty quickly. The mask isn't my favorite but I do like their avocado retinol mask. I think my water cream moisturizer from Tatcha (Ipsy add on, sample size.) is breaking me out (right on my nostril 😫) but I do like how it makes my skin feel, overall. The dewy one is way better imo, since I am combo skin, leaning more towards dry. I like the water cream from Touch In Sol, but I haven't used the glass skin one yet. (Edit Im also enjoying the IT! Cosmetics new moisturizer, that's in the blue jar.) I think it's cool that your top 5 are also ones I enjoy lol.😁 except for the Milk one. Haven't tried it yet.

And the scent is super super strong def gives me a slight headache and u are supposed to wash it off ur face in the morning most likely because it just sets on the skin and starts peeling off dont care for it either. But I love love love the Saturday skin waterfall glacier water cream it works so good for me and it is really moisturizing def a fav

I’m not crazy about the skincare we get in Boxycharm or at Sephora because of the fragrance content. I got a face sleeping mask in a Fab fit fun starter box and it smells like strong shampoo 🧴. I’m using it as overnight treatment on my hands instead. It irks me how so much skincare in ULTA and Sephora is gimmicks without any real benefit or it’s actually bad for our skin. I rather go to dermatologist and get medical grade skincare for the prices those stores.

Typically in the morning I use the ordinary niacinamide, good molecules hyaluronic acid, the Tatcha eye cream, and then a moisturizer and some SPF. I’m not as strict in the morning but at night I always do the ordinary lactic acidosis, niacinamide, the hyaluronic acid, the good molecules night oil, and then my eye cream and moisturizer. It’s helped my skin so much with texture and dehydration. 😊
Never tried any of these. I would never pay $60 for a moisturizer, i just can't. I do get skincare from soko glam but haven't tried these. I'm not dry and flaky, but I would be if i didn't have a very extensive regiment I do. Lol I'm like the skincare police here with my girls. Always using a good moisturizer at night is something I feel e1 should do to help keep a healthy skin barrier.
I understand. Almost all of my skincare is affordable brands but moisturizer and eye cream is where I like to splurge. It’s good that you encourage good skincare!

It’s interesting you keep saying about layering the creams over oils but oils should be your last step, not the cream. No matter what cream, oils go last over the cream. Not the other way.

Harley Hybrid if you have pilling, maybe try applying by pressing the product into your skin instead of gliding/rubbing.

The glow mask does have aha/bha so it could be purging and not breaking out. I really love the mask but the moisturizer is horrible.

It’s interesting you keep saying about layering the creams over oils but oils should be your last step, not the cream. No matter what cream, oils go last over the cream. Not the other way.
Thats interesting. I just did some quick research on it and some people go back and forth on which is more effective. I will give doing oils afterwards a try 😊
