So basically the producers are the real villians. And I don't understand how so called fans are taking this to an extreme by attacking children, even if a child was being bratty so doesn't mean you have to attack them.
I’m kinda annoyed that they made Kaya portray herself like that because it really gave her the “ghetto black lady” stereotype which I really don’t appreciate.
Really, Kaya's first appearance wasn't that bad. Even on the show, the producers made it be because everyone kept villainizing her and Nicaya for "replacing team members" and Kaya kept saying "we're not trying to replace anyone". And come to find out later in an interview right after that season, the REAL reason she blew up was because the moms were trash talking her when she left the dressing room talking about how she probably couldn't even afford to take class there. And even still, I am very bothered that Kaya gets labelled as a "ghetto black woman" when people like Christi, Yolanda, Kira, and Kelly not only act the same way or worse, but also have actually physically hit people. :/
I completely agree! I feel like Dance Moms (and many other reality shows) was way behind the times when it came to the representations of minorities. I feel ashamed that I used to buy into Kaya's character on the show without question.
Alana Lewis you don’t even know how much that used to get to me. They always made it seem like she just constantly attacked the moms (especially Jill). I am glad that she did say that she knew what she signed up for but the producers & editors are just morons
Kayas part in the video struck out to me! Calling Nia fat, and Making fun of Vivis weight and her being adopted? People don’t realize that the producer make Abby seem so amazing and the villains seem terrible. Abby can be kind not denying that, but so can the villains.
her calling nia and vivi fat and making fun of vivi for being adopted were aired. i don't think abby is shown in a good light at all, production hates her and for good reason.
Payton seems like a nice girl. She seems like she is responsible and everything. I mean that bratty moment in season 2 I thought she was horrible. But that was edited. And the quinns seem really nice and so is Sarah
honestly even if it was real, people are really quick to judge literal kids on a few hours or edited footage of their lives. as if every kid doesn't throw tantrums or behave bratty or annoying sometimes.
I used to watch Dance Moms and think those people were really horible but once i grew up and learned that the producers set up things I feel bad for the hate i had for them
Green Eyed Teen I used to be think they were horrible too. With each episode I make, I find out more and more about how fake the show actually is. I really hope that this series helps people realise that editing and manipulation can happen in any piece of media and that we can all learn together how to work out the truth behind them.

*.*. Super Girl RBLX .*.* that’s definitely true. the producers likely use bad angles towards them, likely just to influence a more negative opinion about them.
This is absolutely a thing. The mother of Peyton Evans (one of the minis from season 6) has said that even though she had the same makeup artist as the other mini moms, they would always make her look scary for some reason.
Honestly dance moms was extremely racist. -Nia even said that a producer told her the only reason she got to do the show was because she is black -Camryn and nia talked about abbys racist-ish comments towards them -they desperately looked for a black kid in s8 and then barely showcased that kid (same was done to camryn) -playing into stereotypes: black patsy as hood and ghetto for cussing and yelling while christi and kelly were deemed funny and witty and also holly having to be super smart and stuff in order not to be seen as ghetto -the moms made insensitive comments regarding kayas financial situation ( prejudice that black people are poor) -the trump wall dance -kira jill kelly and many candy apples mums are trump supporters
Soyana Katrice I’m sorry I was with you until you added some moms being trump supporters to the list. How exactly does being a Trump supporter make you a racist?

My friends have met Kaya “black patsy” in real life. I live in Ohio, and we were at a dance competition. Since Candy Apples is in Ohio, they happened to be at the competition. Some of my friends were dance moms fans, and they wanted to meet her and take a picture with her. They did, and they said she was super nice! Kaya is not who the producers make her out to be.

Brynn and Kendall were also good friends, because they got so many duets together.

You're so good at researching these...do you reckon you could try and look into Brooke's music career? I think it'd make a good topic...and its something that's been on my mind for a LONG time... (The music that Brooke supposedly wrote for her song was used multiple times before as OST in season 1, so the song clearly wasn't hers in its entirety)
Piierogii yeah I think the producers and the music producers screwed up Kendall’s and Brookes music career: Abby said on her Instagram story, that Kendall had a whole album ready which Jill said in season 7. Abby said how she NEVER got the songs for Kendall the same probably happened to Brooke
I never thought Kaylee Quinn was a brat, she was better than most of the elite team and probs saw straight away that the show was not gonna show her full potential so I’m glad she left xx
i’ve known kaylee quinn for almost five years because i danced with her and her sisters. she is the sweetest, kindest, most humble person ever, and i knew the second i watched that episode that it was either scripted or edited.
she was also a child. even if everything that they showed was real, it would still just be a child having a bad day. she was even right. she was almost double the age of the kids she was dancing with, it was dumb.
Does anyone remember when Nicaya barely joined the team, and said she went by Nini. Kendall responded “I’ll just call you Laquifa” and everyone thought it was so funny I was like 🤨 Edit: Okay y’all I assumed it was the producers but that didn’t come across in my initial comment my bad lol
Apart from jess I'd say. She literally admitted to ganging up on ashley and brynn on purpose and laughed when she said she bullied brynn which is just sad cuz she was only 11 and no 11 yr old deserves to be treated like that by a 40yr old woman
I hate how Kaya was portrayed. In real life, she’s just as educated as Holly but because she was the only single mom and lesbian they really made her out to be some “ghetto black mom” but in reality she was protective of her child and that’s it. Love her and Nicaya
Kaya is actually really nice. Nicaya danced at one of our rival dance studios and is actually a stronger dancer than she was portrayed. Camryn danced at our studio before she went to ALDC
Thank you for clarifying the Kaylee Quinn situation I have been defending her for YEARS about this . Kaylee Quinn is a Sweet, humble , amazing girl and such a Talented Dancer and what the producers and Abby and the mom's did to her along with some of the girls was horrible!!
I friggin loved Ava and her mom! They seemed like the kind of .people that enjoy lifting up others. Glad everyone else got away from ALDC too, especially before their technique reverted.
If y’all actually knew Kaya, you’d love her. She’s amazing and Nicaya is a PHENOMENAL dancer, she’s actually in college now (she goes to Boston Conservatory) and still dances of course and is a BEAST! Always loved Nicaya and Kaya
I find it funny that I’m multiple situations the moms start some of the most iconic dance moms fights so they can get kicked out by Abby for a week and go somewhere else like vacation or something.
I’ve been able to have a couple conversations with Kaya and she is a LOVELY woman! She is a really great mom and her family will be welcoming a baby later this year!
Thank you for this video, these people really needed this to be said in the open. I think we forget sometimes how much the producers love stirring drama and editing things in or out, and you should absolutely be commended on making these videos and reminding us that what we get isn't necessarilly what happened :))
I feel sorry for kaylee, I have seen some extremely rude and nasty comments about her and it’s just not okay. And one thing that was mean was the fact ppl were saying that it makes sense that she was acting that way coz she looks like a “mean girl” like wtf?!?!?
Cupcake Girl i’ve known kaylee quinn for almost five years because i danced with her and her sisters. she is the sweetest, kindest, most humble person ever, and i knew the second i watched that episode that it was either scripted or edited. so you are right!
Christy ✝️ was the only whose kid still dances for Abby, The Quinn sisters are extremely talented dancers and have won a multitude of awards kaylee was 11 too old to be in the mini group or a mini division in competition. Jeanette wasn’t a stalker listening to what production said. Kaya was showcased as the loud black ghetto mom.
After watching Payton’s videos she seems like a really kind and funny person Also Christy looks so kind and looks like she’d be really good a comforting her daughter and maybe anyone She looks like a really good mum
Every time Christy comes on screen I'm like: ooooookay stuff is bout to go down... but the problem is, Sarah is a strong and committed dancer. Yet the producers are setting her up to have a bad reputation when really, Sarah is a great dancer and deserves more than the way she was represented on television. Let's have some Sarah appreciation up in here!
Thank you for making this. People need to know that reality tv isn’t always reality, and the producers don’t care about accuracy, they care about money.
I'm not in the fandom anymore, but your videos are so informative. It's nice to hear the truth and have situations debunked. All of them deserved so much better.
This video really opened my eyes. For a long time, I thought that these people were just as bad and if not worse than the show portrayed them. Now that I did my research and realized things are edited, I know see how these people weren't the villains, but the victims of editing and manipulation by the producers.
It’s just so sad that these kids had to go through being thrust into the spotlight this young & had to deal with millions of people judging them & their moms, which is just as upsetting to a child.
I’m so happy you made this video. Kiya used to make me so angry, however what she said for people idolizing Abby but being mad when she is told by the producers to criticize the dancers and Abby straight up bullies them and attacks appearances on and off camera with and without production.
And even if she was being bratty, she was like what 11? She’s around 16 now and still gets hate. It was like 5 minutes of screen time. People need to move on
@@HD-fd7tn it's incredibly ridiculous. especially since a lot of the show's fans are very young and very surely are not behaving perfectly 24/7. i wish people would stop judging children in general. Kids cry, kids are annoying, kids are bratty, kids are mean. every single one, and just because for them it was televised, doesn't make them bad people or deserving of anything mean. an 11 y/o rolling their eyes and saying something snarky to their mum? i think the world isn't going to end
everyone keeps saying the producers are the villains, but in some ways, i feel the moms are just as guilty. the producers were doing their jobs. albeit, not jobs to be proud of, but they were doing what they had to do to keep the show running. not many of us would've followed this show for so many years if it weren't for all of the drama. the really sad part is how many women were willing to watch their kids be bullied and framed as brats just for fame and money. i have so much respect for leslie for finally putting her foot down and deciding she wasn't allowing this to happen anymore. i also respect christi and kelly for doing the same and getting out of that show once too many lines were crossed. less respect for christi considering she came back, but chloe was old enough by then to make that decision on her own. all of those girls had their childhoods ruined, and that's so devastating. they should've been dancing as a hobby and because they enjoyed it. they shouldnt have been dancing as a job at ages as young as six so they could make money. they were children. i think we forget that they were being verbally abused just to get their families rich.
Did anyone notice when Abby was talking about the message Sarah's mom sent her. You hear Maddie say. "They are actually a family" someone comment is she saying it like she does not like it or she is being sweet
'What she is, is the most humble, sweet, modest, grateful - just beautiful soul you will ever meet - And I'm not just sayin that cause I'm her mom, cause not all my kids act like that!'' What a Queen lol
When brynn left the show ashley say to the producers...."you think that we're so desperate to be on tv that this matter?" I think there are mothers who definitely are, and doesn't mind risking her daughters in order to gain fame and instagram followers !!! 9 season is comming lol
I’m so glad you brought up kaylee quinn! I thought it was ridiculous how bratty they made her look. Not to mention, she’s an INCREDIBLE dancer. Even if her portrayal were true, there’s no wonder why she’d be “mad” about doing a monster dance. The show pretty much insulted her talent.
I never thought Jeannette was a villain. She tried VERY hard to be a good sport. Especially, when she quit the CADC because she didn't like Cathy's, "kalani is the whole team", argument with Holly!
I LOVE this series!!!! Back in the day I was a big Dance Moms fan and this is helping me fall back in!!! I've binged most of this series in only a few day, it has really opened my eyes to the bts of the show. Keep up the great work!!
This was an anmazing video and it shed a lot of light on who these people really are and not they’re potrayed on a TV show. I think the producers should be ashamed of themselves tbh I still can’t believe what they did to Payton that’s just honestly criminal imo.
Yvette and Hadley should be on this video. They live in my hometown and they are actually a great family. I went to Yvette’s dance studio when I was little.
I love your videos so much! I'm not even a really big fan of dance moms but the way you present the information and your ideas is really great! I find it so easy to understand and I love the structure of these videos. Thank you so much and I hope you continue with this series
I never thought Nicaya was a brat, even though the show portrayed her that way. She just didn’t have that vibe. She seemed like a quiet, hard-working kid.
Loving these videos!!! BTW so early. I haven't been this early since my favourite artist (singer) uploaded a new music video. Your research skills are goals 😍😍😍😍

Ost?
The bad thing about being early is theres no good comments to read
This is a good comment
They're not the villains
the producers are
Yes
for sure
And Abby lee Miller
I never thought Kaylee Quinn was a brat, she was better than most of the elite team and probs saw straight away that the show was not gonna show her full potential so I’m glad she left xx
Kaylee Quinn was good person
i’ve known kaylee quinn for almost five years because i danced with her and her sisters. she is the sweetest, kindest, most humble person ever, and i knew the second i watched that episode that it was either scripted or edited.
she was also a child. even if everything that they showed was real, it would still just be a child having a bad day. she was even right. she was almost double the age of the kids she was dancing with, it was dumb.
Even I have danced with Kaylee . She is soooo humble and sweet. I love her so much. ❤️
Hi plz repent of your sins. Jesus loves you so much and He died on the cross for you so that you may be with the Father and have eternal life w/Him
Does anyone remember when Nicaya barely joined the team, and said she went by Nini. Kendall responded “I’ll just call you Laquifa” and everyone thought it was so funny I was like 🤨
Edit: Okay y’all I assumed it was the producers but that didn’t come across in my initial comment my bad lol
Jasmine Martinez That was actually editing as well. You should watch Kaya’s full video. She address a lot.
Artemis Bianco ok so she didn’t actually say that to nicaya? because i was like wtf! the producers are so shady to do that
Laylah P right that’s horrible
Jasmine Martinez I always thought that she was saying that to Nia cuz the names were so similar and it was a reference to her old dance!
OMG WHAT EPISODE IS THAT??????
Honestly, the closest Kiya has ever been to making fun of a dancers physical appearance was when she said she knew Nia was a lefty 😂
in my opinion everyone except Abby was portrayed worse than they actually are
You are spot on.
Sarah's Younger brother went to my school, On our Christmas party Christy came and she was extremely nice and kind
Sarah is BY FAR the most gorgeous and talented child on that show. I am happy Christy did right by her
Caoimhe Mcwilliams heals need to stop their all pretty and talented
Caoimhe Mcwilliams Ellie?!?!
Ashleigh Jackson elliana Walmsley
🕳 my bff knows Sara from dance!! They were both went to Studio 19.
@@aaliyahaldc3760 no they're all beautiful
Kaya is actually really nice. Nicaya danced at one of our rival dance studios and is actually a stronger dancer than she was portrayed. Camryn danced at our studio before she went to ALDC
You're a hero for doing this series, I believe it's going to enlighten so many people🤩
Thank you for clarifying the
Kaylee Quinn situation I have been defending her for YEARS about this .
Kaylee Quinn is a Sweet, humble , amazing girl and such a Talented Dancer and what the producers and Abby and the mom's did to her along with some of the girls was horrible!!
I think that one episode deeply affected her. She deleted all social media and kinda disappeared
Reality tv isn’t reality period
Edit: thank you for the likes
Can you please uncover Abby and Maddies dads fight?
Sorry for my bad English
Mathilde Møller omg yess
That will probably be hard because there will be legal stuff
Hi plz repent of your sins. Jesus loves you so much and He died on the cross for you so that you may be with the Father and have eternal life w/Him
Last time I was this early Mellissa didn’t want Maddie to do a solo 😂
9:46 I think when Jeanette put “life” in quotes she was shading lifetime
Bro as much as i don't peyton she didn't deserve death threats like wtf
Payton. Peyton was the mini.
@@moonwalkerangel7008 older Peyton
Christy ✝️ was the only whose kid still dances for Abby, The Quinn sisters are extremely talented dancers and have won a multitude of awards kaylee was 11 too old to be in the mini group or a mini division in competition. Jeanette wasn’t a stalker listening to what production said. Kaya was showcased as the loud black ghetto mom.
It’s confusing how it’s called REALITY TV yet the producers still controll them
It should be Producers TV the amount of 'fixing' they do to this show,
u should do a video on how chloe beat maddie and how they said maddie actually beat chloe
I feel so bad for Payton because she got death threats from everything on a SHOW.
Fun Fact: My dad’s friend split up the New Orleans fight
That is so cool!!!
do you have any behind the scenes scoop about it??? i'd love to hear what your dad thought about it lol
@@mermaedman no unfortunately :(
So the guy that said “stop stop stop” when Leslie was defending herself is your dad’s friends?
After watching Payton’s videos she seems like a really kind and funny person
Also Christy looks so kind and looks like she’d be really good a comforting her daughter and maybe anyone
She looks like a really good mum
Through all Kaya and Nicaya went through, they both seem like nice people. And the tweet Nicaya made about Abby and cancer was so nice, despite it all
in fact, the producers are the real villains
Every time Christy comes on screen I'm like:
ooooookay stuff is bout to go down...
but the problem is, Sarah is a strong and committed dancer. Yet the producers are setting her up to have a bad reputation when really, Sarah is a great dancer and deserves more than the way she was represented on television. Let's have some Sarah appreciation up in here!
Can we talk about how the biggest “villain” of the show isn’t even on this list???
WHERE IS CHATHY!! 😂
she was much nicer than abby tbh
angeline j she’s a trump supporter and was rly racist to Kaya the other day on Instagram
Sparkle Queer but Abby has also been recently exposed for being racist, so wouldn’t that make both of them horrible?
Cathy is actually really nice
Thank you for making this. People need to know that reality tv isn’t always reality, and the producers don’t care about accuracy, they care about money.
I'm not in the fandom anymore, but your videos are so informative. It's nice to hear the truth and have situations debunked. All of them deserved so much better.
This series is literally one of my favourite on UA-cam, love it
I’m really enjoying this series, keep it up
you: explain how nothing was real
jill : thIs mEAnS nOTHiNg tO mE
This video really opened my eyes. For a long time, I thought that these people were just as bad and if not worse than the show portrayed them. Now that I did my research and realized things are edited, I know see how these people weren't the villains, but the victims of editing and manipulation by the producers.
You should do a video called “The true villains of Dance Moms” Starring the producers.
It’s just so sad that these kids had to go through being thrust into the spotlight this young & had to deal with millions of people judging them & their moms, which is just as upsetting to a child.
can you talk about yvette? she is a very interesting character on audc and dm
I’m so happy you made this video. Kiya used to make me so angry, however what she said for people idolizing Abby but being mad when she is told by the producers to criticize the dancers and Abby straight up bullies them and attacks appearances on and off camera with and without production.
Yeah that death threat thing took this video to a whole new level!!😬🤐 I really wasn't expecting that🤯😳
Your series has legit open my eyes
So happy you made another episode
My friends have actually met Kaya and Nicaya in real life and they said they both are super nice!
Even if Kaylee’s scene wasn’t edited I still support her cause she was too much of a mood to hate
And even if she was being bratty, she was like what 11? She’s around 16 now and still gets hate. It was like 5 minutes of screen time. People need to move on
H D exactly, everyone has their days. Especially as an 11 yr old.
She says "their a sweet family" and "they really nice"
'What she is, is the most humble, sweet, modest, grateful - just beautiful soul you will ever meet - And I'm not just sayin that cause I'm her mom, cause not all my kids act like that!''
What a Queen lol
When brynn left the show ashley say to the producers...."you think that we're so desperate to be on tv that this matter?" I think there are mothers who definitely are, and doesn't mind risking her daughters in order to gain fame and instagram followers !!! 9 season is comming lol
“At a competition that’s not even real” 🤣🤣 Kaya is a savage I love it
Holly is not a queen...
She is the entire palace
(It’s a meme reference)
lol
Leslie: Drunk
Yolanda: Drunk
Kelly: Crazy
Christi: Savage
Mellisa: Sweet
Hotel: Trivago
Ghetto: RATATATTATA
AH RATATATA
Melissa: Snake
I’m gonna be late for school watching this but o well
I’m so glad you brought up kaylee quinn! I thought it was ridiculous how bratty they made her look. Not to mention, she’s an INCREDIBLE dancer. Even if her portrayal were true, there’s no wonder why she’d be “mad” about doing a monster dance. The show pretty much insulted her talent.
I always thought Sarah was so sweet and shy I am so happy she seems too finally found her voice
Payton is not “Bratty” shes nice and pretty and ya’ll who hate her bc she said that ya’ll got to see it from a different perspective
Love you and your vids so much research and shows the real side to the show
Honestly I always feel bad for Ashley because she seems fine and all the moms are SO mean to her
I never thought Jeannette was a villain.
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL THANK YOUUUUU
I love your channel and your more than the producers cared to show is just iconic
I LOVE THIS SERIES SM!!!
I can’t blame everything on the producers. These mom’s still did what they did and they did it for money.
Can you do one on the Irreplaceables Tour? It was poorly advertised and sold and lots of people were scammed out of their money when it was cancelled.
Also Camryn wasn’t invited which really upset me cause she was an original member of the Irreplaceables
Kaylee is one of the top dancers in the country, she has the most insane technique I’ve seen. She is a sweetheart.
all of the uncovered videos are fantastic but this is one of the best episodes by far
