the teacher/parent interview scene is spellbinding. Kevin changes his facial expressions multiple times to show us a different emotion and connection to Elizabeth. The way he also goes from defensive to contrite is superbly acted. His love for Allie and respect for Elizabeth is incredibly portrayed.
Omgoodness...please give us the Mounty and the Teacher. Their chemistry is off the charts! This show needs roots. It needs a core. Jeanette Oke knew what she was doing when she wrote this. Hope we see these two get hitched soon so we can move on to some wonderful storylines of blended family, the good, the bad, the ugly of it all, and I want us to dig into each character on this show and learn what makes them tick. How they got to Hope Valley, their families, etc. Let's do this WCTH!!!

I still watched for Nathan and Allie's relationship. For Nathan and Bill, for the Canfied family and other HV residents, but it wasn't easy watching S8 &S9 with Elizabeth being with Lucas. But I watched holding on to hope the writers would get Elizabeth with Nathan. I knew in S9 it just had to be the writers end goal to get Elizabeth with Nathan. They just had everything going wrong for Nathan not working out from the hit and run to no other relationships working out. I knew it had to change. Finally S10 it did Elizabeth broke up with Lucas. S11, finally we see Nathan and Elizabeth together.
I really believe she always knew he was the right one and fear kept her back. No longer! Now she is finally at peace with loving him and putting their family together ❤️
