Points involve whoever touched the ball last. If the ball touches the opponents block (their ball) and then touches your side of the court, the opponents scored an indirect hit and get a point. Then again, you can aim at the block and angle it so the ball will hit outside the court. Since the block touched last, they basically hit the ball out the court, giving you a point :)
