I love how realistic the cop radio chatter was in NFSMW/NFSC. Sometimes you can hear others encouraging others to not let the chase go cold. Also, the frustration/anger of the police from heat to heat levels. Heat 1: Pull your car over to the side of the road. Heat 2: Stop your vehicle! Heat 3: Pull over and get out of the car now! Stop your car! Heat 4: Stop your car, NOW! Heat 5: *_PULL YOUR VEHICLE OVER!! DO IT NOW!!_*
This game needs a sequel like it was to most wanted. I’m really sad they didn’t grab any attention to this series. I really wanted a good game like this again.
L Anonymous nah it looks like a copy of payback set in the city. This game has a distinct gameplay and unique racking mechanics. The cars are great and the cop chases had cool radio chatter than made them more realsistic. This soundtraack is way better.
cause it's condition 5, the pursuit is about to get more nerve wracking, serious, and everything matters, at that point you'd better use EVERYTHING to your willpower to stop the cops (as much as going through the whole map)

Carbon really made chases feel intense, the suspenseful music paired with the super aggressive cops made for chases that were actually scary especially knowing how much was on the line in high heat chases
I have some reasons they shouldn't 1. NFS Payback was awesome 2. Black Box is dead (IGN told ea to fire black box) 3. This game was unfinished 4. Remain as a classic
1.nfs payback is utter trash 2. blackbox was shut down yes, in 2013 unfortunatly but developers could take note of these masterpieces of games. 3. blackbox was the only ea company to make a game as finished as posible inside ea's deadlines. imo blackbox was the best developer ea could have ever asked for and after blackbox's death the nfs industry went to utter shit, with nfs games getting only worse. 4. yeah but we have the devs and time and money to creat such a masterpiece yet ea's bullshit dev choice and their deadlines and the money hungryness they are pulling off nicely , i guess its far ahead for us to see a game as legendary as mw or carbon. i'm never going to enjoy a game as much as i did carbon unless they read this and take notice...
@@boonamai8926 It is a sequel towards NFS MW just our protagonist but a different city since our protagonist is Most Wanted on Rockport but if isn't a sequel then Cross wouldn't be Easter egg/cameo. Speaking of that How the hell Cross knew we were entering Palmont City and chase us through the canyon. He even had a bounty on our protagonist and he even said how much the boundary is on us while talking to Darius after we totalled our ride since our bounty is $150k. So technically our main protagonist is in Palmont City just escaped from getting arrested from Cross since Darius paid our bounty but he didn't realized that we were taking over his city and pretty much kicking out other racers. So pretty much it has a lot of Easter eggs from most wanted on police chase music and pretty much a tribute from the last game Need for speed Most Wanted 2005.

I like when you actually pull over for them, the cops’ car cam will show the cop walking towards your car and you have the option to stay and get your ticket or you can floor it and start the chase. I think it was this game I’m not sure though but I know it was one of the need for speed games
I use to pull over and wait but I had other ideas when I was younger. Tbh it was sign of realism and pay to detail and I almost forgot that feature existed but sadly it's not going to be returned at anytime soon because of new software because every game developers now days say it's too complex/too hard put in the game/feature as an excuse. But I hope there's another game developer might be taking notes and become a nfs competitor/rival to EA but that will never happen in today's gaming generation 🙄 😢

It's sad that this is the only pursuit music in Carbon. Most Wanted had 4 different pursuit soundtracks, which are suspenseful and full of action during the chase between you, Cross, and the cops driving Corvettes and Heavy SUV's, including a chopper following on your tail.
"Hey, hotshot! Hey, thanks for helping us out! We've been able to pick up every blacklist racer, thanks to you! Now I'll take that into consideration if you give yourself up! So, what's it gonna be?"
I find it really curious that they have decided to place the same persecution themes of Most Wanted in Carbono, really the two games are almost the same in gameplay and setting, great choice

I played Carbon once again and i had so much fun, my heart was beating for 15 minutes as my pursuit after a race started with a lot of cops, dumb me didn't realize i had speedbreaker so i can wreck the cops. The pursuit went for 20 minutes.
The reason they used the same police chase music is because carbon was the sequel to most wanted and its part of the same storyline with the same player.

The Pursuit music in MW 2005 is so good they just put them in Carbon aswell.
