Why is it that people like us need to stay away from our homeland and our friends and family because of the corrupt regimes and bullshit planning of our govts that even after completing higher studies we don't have the opportunities to earn our livelihood in our own country. Yet we are the ones who are suffering. Why is it all happening? If you have a heart in your chest, you wouldn't have said something stupid like this to an unknown person.

This is the story of my father . He was in Dubai since my childhood just to give us a good life . He came after each 2 years and stayed us for just only 2 month and returned to Dubai . After that we waited for him for 2 years . Now he is permanently lived with us but the lyrics and video touched my heart . And yes I am from India. But songs are beyond country, caste,race, religion and border. This is a truly masterpiece.
And I am a father living with my family... But sometimes miss my neighborhood, family and foeens back home.

My father's abroad...works there and this song is so sad because it's so true. No amount of explanation can really tell how empty it feels everytime he visits us and goes back after sometime. It's been ages since we last celebrated eid together, 6 or 7 years maybe. Hats off to all the men who leave their families just so they can provide a better life to their families. Men can be so selfless and I think we don't appreciate them enough.

Oh my god, this is my fathers story, he worked in gulf for 19th are gave up good education and made up independent. We want to do so much for him, but this year he got diagnosed with cancer and I cried my eyes out while seeing this video.
